It's been like, two days? I can't tell. Time here is weird, and off setting. I've been scavenging the area for food but of course, there isn't much. Sometimes, hidden in the trees there are fruits. I couldn't tell if they were poisonous or not, but i was kind of hungry.

I've been sitting in the treetops wondering if Damian would ever find me. I realized i cannot stay in these trees the whole time I'm here. I should be trying to find my way out too. I tied my hair up into a sloppy ponytail. I grabbed the long branches of the tree i was in and slowly started making my way down. I was pretty high up to begin with, i was scared that if fell asleep something would snatch me up.

I must have misstepped and i went tumbling down, i hit two branches on the way down and landed on the leaf filled floor. I let out an oof as the wind was pushed out of me. "Fuck." i breathed out as i rolled onto my back. I slowly lifted my shaking leg up and groaned when i looked at it. My thigh was deeply torn right across, and leaking a lot of blood.

I quickly sat up and pressed my hand to it attempting to heal. My head was pulsating and my body felt weak. All of a sudden, i heard deep, booming, steps. "Fuck, fuck." I muttered panicked. I took in a deep breath trying to focus on healing. "Please heal me." I murmured.

I watched as my skin mended together painfully slow. I gritted my teeth as i heard the stomps near. I dragged my almost limp body to the tree and rested my back against it. Without Yves borrowing his power was almost impossible. My leg wasn't perfectly healed, but it was good enough. Taking some of his power when he was gone was something we learned to do earlier on in our life together. I hope it didn't hurt him.

The stomps were so close, i could see the rocks on the ground shaking with each step. I let in a deep breath and closed my eyes. Then, i heard a snort. Kind of like, a horse or a cow. I opened my eyes and inhaled harshly. My eyes started to water and fear was rolling off me in waves.

It was like 8 feet tall? A ram like human. It's horns twisted around it's head and it's hair on its head was raised similar to a lions. It was demonic.

It glared at me as it's grip tightened on its large weapon. I heard it inhale and very quickly after it let out a long deep screech that made the leaves turn with a crunching noise as small ram animals and mice skimper away. I shuttered when it leaned its head close to mine. I gripped my leg tighter and it's gaze shifted downward. It let out a deep grunt.
It stared at me for a good 10 minutes until my head began to hurt from continuous blood loss. I may have helped my wound but it was far too deep to stop the bleeding. I just slowed it down.

I heard it snort again and then turned it's head to stare off into the distant fog, unmoving. It let out an animalistic growl/grunt. I cringed back. I was weak. I couldn't do anything about this. "I should've just stayed in the trees." I whispered to myself.
It's head quickly turned to me and in a blink of an eye it pushed its head as close as it could to mine. It was so big. It's head was h u g e. It stomped while glaring at me then slowly retracted to stand tall, returning to its original stance.

I let out a sudden hiss in pain as i gripped my leg. It had started stinging along with its harsh throb. I put my head back against the bark of the tree and closed my eyes. And that's when i heard it. The deep screeching noise again. But in the distance covered by the fog. My heart began to beat rapidly and the throbbing in my head intensified.

I felt so weak.

I don't know how long i sat there until i heard multiple footsteps. Something made a noise, and i heard words i could not understand being spoken next to me. I tried as hard as i could to open my eyes but to no avail. I let out a soft, low groan. My body slumped and my hand let go of my leg.

I pushed my eyes open just a sliver and i saw a man, well, not a man. I think he's a demon. I saw other figures surrounding but he was the closest. He furrowed his eyebrows and his face held a deep discomfort. But when he saw my eyes open his expression softened slightly. He spoke in an odd tongue and i felt my limp body lift into the air. I wanted to protest but i was too weak to do anything.

Too weak.

I felt a hand caress my cheek as my body entire body exploded with warmth.

a faint, almost unheard voice whispered next to me.

"my dilectus."
