He lead me through the halls back to a room that didn't have a number. He held open the dark oak door and allowed me to walk inside. There was a small black couch seated right next to a bookcase and I sat down onto it. I gripped one of the cushions tightly to my chest as he closed the door and turned to face me.
He walked across the room and sat on the desk straight across from me. He seemed to be waiting for me to talk first. I didn't have anything to say. He was supposed to explain to me.
He sighed and glanced at me. "Well, i was supposed to go and capture you, right. He sent many before me but this time he thought i should be able to do the job properly," he spoke in a monotone voice, as if he was thinking back to the moment.
"Who is he?" I asked, interrupting his story. His gaze tightened on me as he squinted his eyes. "You'll find out," he cleared his throat. "As i was saying, they said you were to go out tonight. So i dressed the part. I finally saw you. You looked so blissful, i only knew it was you when i saw your necklace. I was going to talk to you, about this, and why he wanted me to do this to you. But you left before i could. That made him angry. Sometimes he can take over my emotions, and i let him this time. I realized what was happening only after you and your deity got hurt. My apologies." He said with a curt nod. I furrowed my brows.
"This sounds weird." Yves commented in my head. "His story doesn't make much sense to me." I agreed with him. It doesn't feel right. "So, why am i here." I said while letting my hair down from it's bun. I fluffed my hair out, fixing its curly mess. He paused to look at me. I glanced up at him.
"You're mine." He growled out. I gave him a face. "Says who?" I retorted. "Says me." Yves rolled his eyes. I snorted.
"I work personally with him. I can easily hand you over to him and he can have his way with you. Whatever he wants from you." He gritted out.
I stood fixed my skirt. "I'm not yours. I'm not his. I'm my own person. You don't own me. Fuck you." I spat. I felt Yves' encouragement as i walked away."Lend me your speed." I muttered to Yves. I knew he'd try something. Suddenly i was down the hall. I heard him yell in the room that was now in the distance and i began to panic. I ran through hall after hall until i reached a door that read "room 1."
I gripped the stone in my hand and called to Yves. "Materialize." He popped out and landed in my arms. We shared a look and heard a growl down the hall. "There's no where else to go." I pleaded. Yves rolled his eyes.
"Just tell me to cloak you somewhere." He said with confidence. I tilted my head in confusion. "What?" "Girl, just tell me to cloak you on something, anywhere."
"Yves, cloak me on the wall across from us." He nodded. My body felt light and i looked down and i couldn't see my feet. "What the fu-" Yves planted his paw on my mouth. "Be quiet. Link with me for now." He scolded me in my head. "Sorry."
This continued until my body was completely invisible, Yves instructed me to get close to the wall, apparently we could see each other but no one could see us. I got as close as i could to the wall, and i ended up in the wall.I heard Damian's booming steps nearing. "Delilah!" He roared. I was nervous. He wasn't a werewolf, he was a hunter. Why did he act as if he was one? He come down to the hall i was hidden in and i sucked in a deep breath.
He sniffed the air and froze. I heard him exhale and i watched him turn around ever so slowly. He stared directly at me. "Found you."
