Chapter 25: Capture

Logan

I moved the last of the shit Mia put in front of the door heaved it open narrowly missing punching a face. Grabbing his arm I pinned it behind his back and shoved him against the wall. “Hey stop fighting me I’m not going to hurt you.” I growled pushing myself away from him. He took a good look at me, first with shock and fear. Then came pure rage and he lunged pushing me to the ground. He aimed a punch at my face but I managed roll out of his reach. I threw a punch that hit squarely him in the jaw and he hit the ground. He tried to get up again but I pinned him to the bathroom floor. “What part of I’m not going to hurt you don’t you get?”

“The whole part where you’re a fucking liar.” He spat trying to push me off him but he failed miserably.

“Hey!” I yelled and he glared at me. “I fight for a living if any one’s going to get hurt it’s going to be you.”

“Where’s my cousin?”

“I don’t know she drove off right after she dumped your sorry ass here.”

“What are you talking about you’re the one who hit me.”

“That wasn’t me.” I mutter pulling myself off him leaning against the opposite wall. He was going to have big bruise on his face but besides that he’d be fine.

“What do you mean it wasn’t you? It was! You did all of this!” he screamed pointing to the rest of the store.

“I just got here. The me’s from last night were sirens. They imitate people. How they knew to imitate me, I’m not sure.” I say mumbling the last part, is someone feeding them information?

“So those were sirens.”

“Yeah,” I said and he nodded for a minuet taking a breath.

“So what was she a….”

“A what?” I raise an eyebrow

“A she or a he?” he mumbles and I laugh. The poor bastard is worried he was making out with a guy. After a minuet of constant laughter I manage to get control of myself.

“It’s not funny.” He says crossing his arms and refusing to meet my eyes.

“Are you kidding? That’s priceless. You don’t have to worry though most sirens are female. Come on we should probably get out of here.” Stepping over the debris pile I made trying to get to the door I make my way towards the exit and it sounds like Blondie is doing the same. I walk to my beautiful new black Camaro and slip into the driver’s seat. A few seconds later Blondie gets in.

“This is your car?” he asks and I cant help but smirk when I hear the awe in his voice.

“Yep.” He’s quiet for a minuet. Then I start the car heading down the high way in the direction I saw Mia heading. I was about to turn on some music when he spoke up.

“We’re going after Mia, right?” and I shake my head.

“I’m going after her, your going to go home once I find a train or bus station.”

“She’s my cousin I’m going after her.”

“You’re a fragile human if you said the wrong thing she could have turned on you then kill you.”

“So? If you find her she’ll do the same to you.”

“True, but I’m a lot more durable than you.”

“Because you’re a half blood.” He says and I tense. Stupid Mia can’t keep a little secret to save her life.

“I guess you can say that.”
