Aria's POV

       I stopped dead in my tracks as an another scent filled my nose causing me to tilt my head backward to sniff once more... I opened my eyes to be met with....  a complete stranger...

     I stepped backward and hit my back against a tree as I looked at the stranger advancing towards me.

     Without a doubt, he was gorgeous with his piercing blue eyes and muscled jaw.

     But that was the least of my problems right now. I cowered back into the tree as I clenched my fists to the side.

     "Well... well...well... what brings you out here today girly?" The man replied

     My eyes widened in fear, shock, the confusion you name it I was feeling it. My nerves started to kick in as I could feel my happy moment going down the drain.

     "..I..um... im..taking..a..walk..?" I mumbled softly more as a question than a statement.

     "What was that?" He replied sarcastically.

     "I am taking...a...w..w...alk," I replied once more.

     "And why is that?" He replied.

     "It is a nice day and I wanted to go out for a run... I got lost earlier and here I am..." I lied.

     That was a complete lie I was not lost, I was simply saving my ass. I knew this forest as if it was my own there is no such thing, psh.

     I have always hated to lie but growing up and always being asked hey how are you and not be able to actually answer them is not easy.

"Oh..." He replied.

I observed his face watching as if he was debating on letting me go or torturing me like the others at school do. 

     He looked somewhat familiar but I could not put a name to his face no matter how hard I tried or how long I looked.

     A small lump formed in the back of my through as I tried my hardest to not shake in fear. I was strong without a doubt but everyone gets scared, I get scared of abuse.

"Aria it's going to be ok... we can get out of here!" My wolf Clara replied in our mind link.

"What do you mean get out of here Clara?" I asked in the mind link.

"I don't know... but we will figure it out. just go!!" My wolf yelled.

"Clara you serious we don't have time to figure it out. He's going to kill us or something! I'm too young to die I have too much to live for!" I whined out.

I looked up at the man surprised that he had not touched me or even laid a finger yet... 

I observed his features once more finding myself quickly drifting off into deep thought. 

I began looking at his blue eyes finding myself comparing them to Kaiden's and Ezra's.

 He was decent looking but nothing compared to them Declan included.... ok maybe more then some his cheekbones were to die for.

    I shook my head side to side as I slowly began to sit up wiping the dirt and leaves off my thighs and butt from the ground.

     "And where do you think you are going?" He replied slowly sending shivers down my body.

     "I..um..to..find my way...back..." I mumbled.

     "...B..b...b..bbull...s...shit..." He mimicked towards me smirking to his dumb joke.

     I will admit typically I would have given him credit for striking a sore spot in my heart, but sadly that line was used to frequently enough as it is.
