As she set eyes on Daniel she regretted what she said the last time they meet forcing a smile to her face she stretched her hand out
"Hey nice to meet you"
Daniel looked from her hand to her face
"Excuse me" he said with a cold expression before leaving
"Well that was nice but I need to use the restroom"
Jane followed him as he walked outside turning into a corner she followed him before he grabbed her pushing her on the wall
"Why are you following me?"
"I came to apologize"
"There's nothing you can say"
"Well I'm sorry I'm fucked up okay but seeing you just reminds me of things and I get angry because it's not enough"
"What isn't enough?" Daniel yelled at her
"I don't know what I'm saying"
"Well you better know cuz I'm not going to ask again Jane"
"I –I –I just –I just need" Jane tried to talk then looked at Daniel grabbing his face and smashing her lips against his into a deep kiss then her hands moved to his belt and his hands moved under her dress until she realized what she was doing
"I'm sorry" Jane said pushing her dress down and walking away inside the garden she sat down on one of the benches with her hands shaking.
"Jane what have you done? Fuck, fuck, fuck" Jane said to herself bringing out a cigarette she started smoking but her hands where still shaking suddenly she felt cold a jacket covered her and Daniel grabbed her shaking hand
"What's wrong with you?" he asked calmly then she started crying
"when I went to rehab I kinda......lost it but what I did God I dunno what happened to me I just tried it once and I couldn't stop sleeping around with people with unstable health I couldn't stop – I just couldn't stop" she said crying more he hugged Jane "they destroyed me Daniel those people they killed me I'm so stupid, it's just so embarrassing being here just makes me feel so judged and what I did right now isn't okay I'm sorry" she said hugging him tighter, sitting up "you can't tell anyone okay? Unless I'll die"
"Don't worry I won't judge you neither would I tell" he said holding her face "and about what just happened if you ever have an episode just call me okay? I don't care if your embarrassed make sure you call"
"Thanks"
As they walked back to the party Kelly approached them from a distance
"Jane might I talk to you for a sec.....alone"
"Sure" Jane said "excuse me" Daniel said leaving
"Babe" Kelly called Daniel "I'm coming over tonight so be expecting me"
"Yeah sure" Daniel said looking at Jane before leaving after he was out of sight Kelly turned back to Jane intentionally pouring her wine on Jane's white dress
"white isn't your colour anymore slut it would be better if you wear black because you look like death and if I were you I will keep off from Daniel, you were once my friend Jane but now your crossing the line. Bon voyage" Kelly said, leaving Jane who was surprised by her ex best friend's attitude
