I wake up still in my Civilian clothes. I get up stretching some, and walk over to that table I seen before and next to the metal crate is a note saying "We are out on a mission, and I was, the only one who decided to tell you. Sandman."So I say to myself "Alright then."
I decide to go turn on the TV, the Halo Games channel opens up. Dead, dead, hey, alive st- wait, no, dead.
Alright, that was stupid. I turn off the TV. "Okay, whats in the box?"
And with that I open the crate easily. Inside is a BR (Battle Rifle) and some sort of syringe gun. And a Power generator for a armor mod. "Nice." I say to myself. In fact, a normal person shouldn't speak to themselves this much. Oh well!
'34' Pov
"Four left." I say over the radio to my teammates as I pull my Combat Knife out of the limp and now dead Elite.
"Scanning perimeter for remaining hostiles" Sparky, our team engineer says.
"No need" Says a deep voice belonging to 5000, our team, tank? After that, multiple Shotgun blasts can be heard through the radio. "Zero" 5000 says.
"Alright I want a salvage sweep, any weapons or gear of use, take it" I command "my" team. "Finally, a time to go stea- I mean take that alien internet router with high speeds of twenty trillo-bytes" Sandman tells us even though no one really cares.
"You think any of these Covenant have Brute Spike Grenades?" A quiet female voice says belonging to Yang, our team's stealthy infiltrator.
"I'd be surprised if they had even had one here" I sarcastically said... Then I realized, god damn it we forgot the Rookie.
Nick Pov
I blinked a few times to get used to the light coming from my HUD (Heads Up Display). It is a bright red color and it was displaying my Shield health and current Mini-map location. I picked up my BR and a icon representing it appeared in the top right corner.
In-sighting me that it was not loaded. I picked up my Syringe looking Pistol and analyzed it. It definitely was some sort of a syringe gun. It had multiple buttons on the back, Red, Blue, and Purple.
Great, more things to have to learn. I press the closest one to me on it. Blue. A sort of cocking sound is heard from inside it as I assume something happens because the button doesn't press out of the gun.
"Here we go" I say as I push the gun up against my carbon titanium weave part of the armor. I pull the trigger, and "something" I assume a syringe sort. Is injected into my arm. ... I feel.. Rejuvenated and slightly druggy all at once! Now isn't technology great?! I blink multiple times trying to get this feeling off of my mind. I check on the "Injector" for where I unload it is at. . . Aha!
"Aha" I say as I think. I pull down on the front of it and the used syringe pops out and falls to the floor with a little clang noise. I decide to pick it up and examine it. Staring at the syringe for a few seconds told me enough. They we're definitely some sort of drugs involved. But what am I to complain, I am the Medic after all.
I take one of the MANY syringes that came in the crate and reload it into the Injector. Red or purple?. Hmmmm...
34 Pov
Coming home and I might murder that rookie for over sleeping...
HEY GUYS! Chapter two is now done. And Nick is getting suited with his weapons, 34 is a little too much of a captain to let rookie slip even the first day. Next chapter awaits...
