Chapter Eight "One of many"

              -Time skip to night-

"Uggh" I groan and sit up. I can't sleep..

I get off my bed and walk past my Xbox and my Work Station.

I open my door with a press of a button and I start making my way down the hallway.

Passing everyone's rooms into the kitchen. I pull open the fridge and let the cool air hit my face.

I take a Sunkiss out and close the fridge. Holding the coldness in my hand I walk out of my team Dorm.

As I walk down the dim lit base hallway I only pass a few night watchers in their armor.

They all look at me like I'm crazy.

I'm going to one of the look outs on the side of the base. Where I normally go when I can't sleep.

I check the time that gets showed over on the wall. 3:14Am

I'm now walking down the metal hallway which always seems to make the loudest footsteps.

As I get to the end of the hallway I have to manually open the door.

After I get that opened and then closed as I get outside in the little lookout.

Which no one comes to this one so I have a good amount of my things here.

I set my Sunkiss on a crate up here and sit on the crate next to it.

I reach over and pull open my tablet that I use to track the team in a file.

It needs a update.

I set it down and I lift my head to the sky.

Three moons hang in the sky of this planet.

One a red moon. One a Greyish blueish. And one a Orange shaded moon, the smallest of the moons.

But. I've always liked to stare at the small one. I always liked this one.

I stare and stare at this moon for what seems to be hours. Then I look back down.

I take my pop which is still cold and I pop open the tab. Take a sip and put it back down. I reopen my table and review what I wrote.

"Heh, and that's all she wrote."
