Nick Pov

There.. is an Elite, right in front of me.

It does not sense me, but, it is wielding an Energy Sword..

"Use the bomb.." I can hear 34 whisper over the radio.

What does that even mean?!

I pick up the bomb being as quiet as I can and the Elite turns around I guess not noticing me.

I get to my feet and stand up, taking the bomb I swing downwards and it lands on him with a painful sounding crack then thud.

"That, worked?" I ask to myself surprised. I put the bomb down and I jog silently back to the middle where the team is crowded together at.

"So uh-?"

The lights start up again and blind everyone, "I got the lights on!!" yelled an Grunt who scrambled up out of the building/wall on our left.

34 Pov

I am already looking down at my tablet as I move my finger to the top of the screen to the bottom and highlight all of the bombs. Which are Anti-tank mines.

"'Bout to get loud!" I yell as I run the command '/detonate' on all of them.

*Boom!!!!*

"Get down!!" I yell on the top of my lungs as shrapnel flies through the sky. I crouch down and aim taking down one of the remaining Innies.

5000 crouches down next to me and just causally says, "I really do prefer the light, but that was really, really bright."

"You can say that again," I said chuckling as I reload.

"I really do prefer the light-"

"Okay, I was talking as a figure of speech," I cut off 5000

He chuckles, "You know that I knew that."

"And that's the problem, we both know that," I tell him.

"Yeah," He says half amazed and half distracted.

I look around, destruction is everywhere, as well as fire, and death. "Holy, crap."

"Looks like we're done here.." Yang says in her usual attitude.

Soft fire crackles because of the explosions, setting the mood to be more calm, after the storm.

"So uh, what's the plan 34?" Nick asks me which makes everyone look to me

"Well," I start, puling out a pretty typical flare, "I'm planning, on a good supper when we get home, I don't know about you but, let's get out of here."

I scrape the flare's cap against the fuse and *Whoosh*

It lights up a blue in my hand and I throw it up at the dark sky. It descends back down leaving a blue-ish smoke trail where I threw it.

"This is General Gaverous (Jau-vur-ois) of the Fire Walkers , we're getting your signal. Over."

"This is Michael, Code name '34'. Over"

"Gotcha loud and clear. Objective yet complete?"

"Yesirunie. And I'm ordering a evac? Please and thank you."

"Alright, I'm sending in Dillan Sanders."

"Alright, team's getting wild. Over and out."

They all look at each other confused.

"Over, and out."

"SHUT UP!" I yell at them.

"Uh, we weren't even talking?" Sparky asks looking among themselves.

"I know, I just wanted to yell," I respond calmly.

"And why's that?" 5000 asks casually.

"Because! Their sending in Dillan!" I yell annoyance rising in my voice.

"Why does she bother you?." Yang asks confused.

"You know me and her are total bi-polar. She never agrees with me and I don't with her!" I explain like she doesn't already know.

In the distance the whistling sound of a Pelican flying in can be heard.

"Well what have you both argued about recently?" Nick asks me.

"Weapons, Flying skills, who's smarter, there was that one ti-"

"Okay okay!" Nick sighs and turns around, "I get it.."

"Anyways here she comes.." I murmur watching her slowly land down in the middle of this dead war zone.

"Really where? I don't see her??????" 5000 asks stupidly, but on purpose.

"She's inside the ship, Duh!!" Sparky says with his energy back, even though it's night I'm tired as well as probably everyone else.

"Yeah I know," 5000 says dissapointed that Sparky didn't get his tone.

"You guys are so stupid..." Yang murmurs under her breath but loud enough so we can hear.

"Yeah," The doors on the ship start coming down, "We know, its contagious."
