"Son, I am glad you told me that with full honesty, not all detectives can be as honest like you." He paused for a while and drinks a glass of water. "You know, when I am still serving as a detective, a very hard case came to me as well, and with full honesty, I did not manage to solve it for 48 hours. I was very frustrated at that moment and the feeling is very infuriating, much like you are feeling right at this moment. However, someone told me that, it's not the end of the world. I can still finish the case; it may not be within 48 hours, but at least, solve it. You're mom always motivates me and give me hope whenever a case passes my 48 hour timeframe. FYI, I also made mistakes and I did not solve all of my cases within 48 hours, maybe 90%, but there are hard cases that are just out of our control." He told all of them with full honesty as well.

Solomon, Sarah and Jerry were surprised of the old detective's revelation; they have no idea that he can be as honest as this. "Wow, I mean, I-ah... I don't know what to say." Detective Solomon Stone said, surprised.

"Now that I told you everything that you needed right now, Can you tell me the exact details of your case, why is that you are having a hard time solving it?"

Detective Solomon stood up and started to tell his father, in full detail of the case. He also told all of them what happened during his encounter with the criminal. A terrifying experience he cannot forget, a thing that is out of his comprehension.

After hearing the whole story, Solomon's father suddenly, became terribly mad and anxious. "It is because you are fucking stupid!" He stood up, picked up the glass of water on top of the table, and threw it hard on the wall shattering it to pieces. "Do you know why I am mad at you? It is not because you stole something from me; it is because of what you stole! You always steal things from me since you're a boy, and I never get mad, but the thing you stole from me three years ago is very special." He said, very angry of his son shouting.

"It's just a fucking ink? What the hell is wrong with you?" He replied with anger as well.

"Oh! Come on! You idiot, did you use the ink?" Lynch asked, looking to Solomon's eyes straightly.

Solomon, did not respond, that is why he repeated his question "did you use the fucking ink?!!!" He asked madly shouting at Solomon's face.

"Ye-yes, I-I used the ink on my manuscript, the book that I wrote 3 years ago. But what the hell can such an ink have to do with this?" Solomon replied, confused and blameworthy.

"Bloody hell" he replied, petrified.

Detective Lynch shook them with his facial expression of being afraid. "That ink, my son, is demonic, believe it or not, that ink is an excess of a demon's blood, your mom and I captured. Every creature you create on a piece of paper will come to life, whether you like it or not"

"What the hell are you talking about? A demon? Are you out of your mind? I don't believe such fairytales!" Detective Solomon Stone said, skeptic.

"That's what's wrong with you! Your pride! You thought that you know everything even if you don't. Can you explain me what happened to the killer after you shot him? Can you explain how he vanished?" Detective Lynch asked.

Solomon can't answer his father's questions, not even a single explanation of things came out of his mouth. "I-i... ah..."

"See? You don't even fucking know! You can't even explain everything!" Detective Lynch said.

"Ok, tell me, how can we capture our guy?" He asked.

"Well son, there are secrets you don't know about this family. I'm a warlock, and your mother is a creator. That's also another reason why I can solve even the hardest case in the world." He said.

"Oh, you got to be shitting me!" He replied. Solomon stood up and walked away from his father "What's next, a flying unicorn?" He added, sarcastically at the highest level.

"How do you expect to defeat a demon? Take a priest on a mission and spray holy water?" Detective Lynch replied, laughing with Jerry. Both the old man is laughing at Solomon, like they are talking to the most stupid person in the world.

Detective Sarah is just sitting and listening to what the old detective told them; it seems that she believed everything and became very much interested on the topic. "Extra ordinary" she told herself silently, while eating.

Walking back and forth, Detective Solomon Stone is still skeptical of everything despite his experience with the demon. He is trying to process all of the things that he just discovered, pushing himself to believe everything his father told them. "This can't be true! But..."

What happened next changed everything about his beliefs. Solomon witnessed something that turned his world upside down. The skeptic detective suddenly believed everything his father just told him. However, the question is, will he be able to accept it? Solomon is unfamiliar with such world wherein everything will defy science, so mystical, no ordinary human being have the capacity to understand.
