"I can't believe her! She told me to ask for my father's help!" Detective Stone said really anxious, and stressed inside his office at the department with Detective Sarah.
The two are sitting in front of a small coffee table facing each other. Detective Sarah, held Detective Stone's hand and told him, why not take Doctor Rachel's advice. "Uhm... Don't get mad at me, but I think the doctor got a point." Detective Sarah said, politely.
"Oh come on! Really? Do you think I'm not good enough to solve this case?" Detective Stone replied, angry.
"Chill out! I know you're a good detective, but... Why are we still here? Why is it that we can't catch the guy?" Detective Sarah asked.
Detective Stone stood up, walked towards the huge window, and stand in front of it facing outside. "You know him Sarah..." Detective Stone said.
"Yes! I know him, we all know him. He's naturally a bad mouth! But what if, he's the only one who can help us solve this case?" Detective Sarah replied
Detective Stone moved towards Detective Sarah and sat in front of her again. "Give me another 24 hours, if I fail to solve it within that time frame, I will seek for my father's help. But promise me one thing!" Detective Stone said.
"What is it?" Detective Sarah asked, very eager to hear the condition.
"You will accompany me to my father's house." Detective Stone said.
"Deal!" Detective Sarah agreed on the conditions of Detective Stone. Her gut feeling told her that they cannot solve this crime within that 24 hour time frame. "I know I'm right" She told herself silently.
Strong door knocks caught the attention of Detectives Stone and Sarah. "Detective Stone, we got a problem down stairs." A policeman shouted while knocking hard on the door, almost fracturing his own bones, outside of Detective Stone's office.
Detective Stone walked towards the door and opened it. "Chill out! For freak's sake, you're going to break the door down! What's the urgency is all about?" Detective Stone asked.
"Sir, its Miller, he was missing last Friday until now, he's at the lobby." The policeman replied.
"So? Why me? Can't you handle the job?" Detective Stone asked.
"With all due respect sir, Mr. Miller only wanted to talk to you." The policeman replied.
Detective Stone walked back at the coffee table and sat down. "Tell him I'm busy."
"Sir, he's wearing a vest full of explosive, sir..." The policeman said to Detective Stone, anxious.
Detectives Stone and Sarah's eyes opened wide, and were in a huge shocked of what the policeman told them. Both detectives stood up and rushed towards the lobby to talk with Mr. Miller.
While inside the elevator, Detective Sarah took her radio that was mounted on her belt. She lifted the radio up and moved it closely to her mouth. "All snipers please take your positions, and wait for my go signal." She put the radio back to her belt and she turned towards the policeman that's with them at the moment. "Please evacuate and set a 1000 meter radius danger zone. No civilian must be inside the danger zone until this scenario is finish, just the police and the paramedics." Detective Sarah commanded.
As soon as the elevator stopped and its door opened, the policeman run fast and went outside to do what Detective Sarah ordered. Detectives Stone and Sarah rushed at the lobby to meet Miller.
While running towards the scene, Detective Stone say something to Sarah, "Our killer is using Miller." He said angry, because he knew at that very moment, Mr. Miller is just being held hostage, by someone that's not inside the perimeter.
Outside the building, are police officers running back and forth, trying to secure the area, as fast as they can. 300 police officers have been deployed, blocking every streets of the 1000 meter radius. The police officers evacuated 20,000 civilians, both residents and workers.
Snipers are positioned on top of six buildings, surrounding the police department. Paramedics are scattered on the ground, ready to respond from any injury or fatality that will occur. Everyone is anxiously waiting, on what will happen next.
Detectives Stone and Sarah stopped running, as soon as they reached the lobby. They saw Mr. Miller standing on the middle, wearing highly explosive bombs, which can destroy the whole building, if detonated.
"Mr. Miller, I am here now, what do you need?" Detective Stone asked while slowly walking towards Mr. Miller.
Detective Sarah held Detective Stone's arm and prevented him on moving forward. "Solomon Stone, what the hell are you doing?" She whispered.
"I am trying to stop a catastrophe." He replied.
Detective Stone pushed through to his own plan, while Detective Sarah run towards the control room, and activated the signal jammer. "This better work" Detective Sarah uttered.
"I know you don't want this. Let me help you." Detective Stone said, while slowly moving to Mr. Miller's position.
"No! You can't help me! He wanted me to come here, to send a message." Mr. Miller said.
"What message?" Detective Stone asked.
Mr. Miller handed a piece of paper to Detective Stone "Re-re-read it!" He said, scared.
Detective Stone opened the folded piece of paper, and saw the word "KABOOM!" written on it. Without having a second thought, Detective Stone jumped towards Mr. Miller, and took him down. He closed his eyes, and bravely waits for his end to come.
All of the people inside the police department docked and took cover thinking the bomb could explode anytime soon. Luckily, it didn't, Detective Sarah's plan worked.
10 blocks away from the building is Clowny Jones in front of a T.V. at the basement of an old church. He was frustratingly pressing the remote detonator repeatedly and rapidly but still nothing happens. No explosion, no fire show, no nothing.
Clowny Jones became too angry, he threw the detonator at the wall making it broke into pieces. He stood up and rushed to the dark room where he keeps Tatyana; Mr. Miller's daughter.
Clowny Jones took Tatyana from the chair and lay her down on top of a butcher's table. He went to the other side of the room and took his tools. He took with him a saw, a huge garden scissor, a baseball bat barbed with wires and a scalpel.
Tatyana is screaming hard but no one seems to hear her. What happens next will be totally brutal.
Clowny Jones returned to the dark room where Tatyana is screaming and begging for mercy. He stood in front of Tatyana, and placed all the tools that he brought to a surgical table, near the butcher's table where Tatyana is being laid down.
He picked up the baseball bat with barbed wire; he stood in front of Tatyana and stared her in the eyes. "Do you know what I do to people who broke their promise? I break them as well!" Clowny Jones said, in a very scary diabolic voice.
He placed the baseball bat with barbed wires in the middle of Tatyana's two legs. He left it there like; he is planning something awful to do later. He walked on the left corner of the room and played some classical music.
