Chapter 29

Solomon is eating his breakfast, when he heard his cellphone beeped, indicating a message has been received. He put his spoon and fork down into his plate, and reached for his cellphone, that is placed on top of the dining table.

He saw Sarah's name on the screen that is why, he immediately unlocked it and read the message. "Good morning Solomon, we need to report at the police headquarters early today. We've been on leave for almost three months, which is why; we need to do some paper works." Sarah said on a text message.

"Shit! I forgot about that" Solomon told himself, and then, he quickly ate up all the remaining food on his plate, and rushed towards his bedroom.

He opened his closet, and gets his white polo shirt, black jeans, and brown trench coat inside; the attire he usually wears on duty. He teleported inside the bathroom naked, and then took a hot shower. After several minutes, he teleported back inside the bed room, and then put the clothes on that he took inside the closet.

Solomon heard an unusual sound, like a cat repeatedly and continuously scratching a wooden floor, somewhere inside his bedroom "what the hell was that?" He asked himself, wondering where the sound is coming from.

He checked each and every corner of the room, including the secret door located on the ceiling, however, he found nothing. The sound continued to annoy Solomon, which is why, he teleported back and forth on every corner of his house to check where it is coming, unfortunately, he failed again.

Very frustrated on finding the sound, Solomon teleported back to his bedroom and just ignored it.

He picked up his backpack located at the side of his bed, to get his gun and blade from it. Solomon was greatly surprised after he opened his bag. He saw the fairy from the library of wonders, inside eating some leftover cookies.

"What are you doing here?"

The fairy flew out from the bag, and stood on top of the bed facing him.

"Did Jerry know this?"

The fairy spins her head back and forth, indicating that Jerry have no idea about it.

"Ok, you know what? Just stay here, I don't care, I'll be going now, I'm going to be late" Solomon said, with a little bit of urgency.

Solomon teleported inside his garage only to find out that his car is not there "Shit! I forgot" He told himself, as he remembered that he, and Sarah just teleported back in the city, and they left his car at the mansion.

Without any means of normal transportation, Solomon decided to teleport to his office, as he is running out of time. Luckily his office is still locked from the inside, and no one saw him used magic.

He saw the dried blood on the floor, making him remember the night he encountered the demon. He suddenly felt angry that made him release a dark flame from his hands. Solomon is slowly getting hotter and hotter like he's going to blow up any second that moment, until suddenly, the black flame disappeared. He managed to control his feelings, and successfully prevented a disaster. "Not today Solomon, not today..." he told himself.

He moved towards his personal comfort room inside his office, and then, he picked up the map that is placed in one corner. He went back on the part of the office where he saw the dried blood, and cleaned it.

After everything is cleaned up, Solomon opened the door of his office, and went outside. He moved towards the elevator, and went down to the main lobby of the police department, wherein he saw Sarah standing patiently waiting for someone.

He approached Sarah, and then asked her who is she waiting for "Who are you waiting for?

"I am waiting for you. Wait, did you?"

"Yes"

"Ow..."

"Let's go see the chief"

Sarah and Solomon went to the chief's office to report, once inside, the chief asked them to wait for a moment.

"Can you please wait here for a moment, please sit down, I will just do something" the chief said.

Sarah noticed that the chief is talking to the radio silently like it's hiding something from them; however, she did not mind it. She thought that it could be a classified conversation that is why the chief is acting weird.

Suddenly, five policemen entered the chief's office and pointed their gun at Solomon. "What the hell is this chief?"

"Solomon, you are under arrest for the murder of hundreds of people, including children. We saw the result of the forensic investigation from Dr. Rachel's file, your DNA signature is all over the place of the scene of the crime, as well as some evidence." The chief said.

"I am not a murderer; you have no idea what you are doing." Solomon said, trying to resist arrest.

"Please take him" The police chief said.

The policemen handcuffed Solomon like any other criminal, and took his gun from his holster, and then, they put him to jail.

"Chief, Solomon is not a murderer, let him explain. Remember all the things that he did for the police force."

"Sarah, what do you want? Do you want to be jailed too?"

"No, sir..."

"Good, by the way, I will be assigning you to a different case; we already have new detectives handling your old one"

Very angry at the moment, Sarah turned his back from the police chief disrespecting it, and banged the door hard. She left with a huge disappointment with the police force, it's like they are not using their brains properly at the moment.

"By the way! You're not allowed to visit Solomon!" The chief shouted.

Sarah heard what the police chief shouted that is why she became more angry "Bull shit!" She whispered, and then left the building completely.

Solomon badly wanted to use his teleportation skill to escape; however, it will just give them more complicated problems, if a normal human will witness such act; that is why he just let the policemen brought him to jail.
