Solomon Stone: Beyond

Chapter 21

Its 7:00 in the morning, Sarah and Solomon are still sleeping, until suddenly, very loud explosions woke them up.

Solomon quickly stood up and tried to reach for the door, however, a strong earthquake suddenly occurred just before he reached the knob. He became out of balance and fell to the ground. Surprisingly, he's not harmed, which is why; he quickly gets back up and reaches for the door again.

Once he reached the door, he opened it and was shocked of what he just saw. The whole mansion has been wrecked. Huge cracks can be seen on the walls, debris scattered everywhere and the second floor's hallway has huge holes and gaps on it.

Worried about Sarah, Solomon run fast towards the room where Sarah was sleeping. He's heart pounded too fast after seeing the debris that covered the door of Sarah's room. "Oh no" He said, very stressed.

"Sarah!" He shouted.

Solomon tried to find a way on how to get pass the debris blocking Sarah's door, unfortunately, the only way is to remove all of it.

"Sarah!" He shouted again, and then suddenly, he heard Sarah's voice, coming from the inside of the room.

"Solomon! I'm here! Help me! I'm trapped"

"Don't worry Sarah, I promise; I'm going to get you out of there. Just relax ok?"

"Ok"

Without thinking twice, Solomon tried to clear the debris one by one. He picked up the small ones first and then threw it on his side. After all the small debris has been cleared, Solomon started to move the huge ones, surprisingly; he managed to lift up huge rock debris that's totally covering the door. Very much focused on saving Sarah, he haven't noticed that he just lifted up a five ton rock and threw it 20 meters towards his left.

"Sarah just hold on, I'm coming" He said, while removing the last debris that are blocking the door.

He managed to remove everything, and finally opened the door of Sarah's room. Once inside, he saw Sarah on the ground being pinned down by huge wooden framework of the ceiling that fell because of the earthquake.

"Solomon, help me" Sarah said, in an agonizing tone

Solomon rushed to Sarah and lifted up the debris crushing her, with ease. He picked up Sarah from the floor and carried her outside the room.

"Are you ok?" He asked while carrying Sarah.

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you, it's just that, I can't move my feet." She replied.

Solomon went downstairs to look for Jerry and the others; however, four men in black hood are standing on their way.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Solomon asked.

The four men did not respond to Solomon's question, instead, they started to attack him.

Solomon moved backwards a little, and put Sarah down on his side. Sarah lost consciousness that is why; Solomon became more worried about her.

One of the four men in black hood rushed towards Solomon. He attacked Solomon with a dagger, surprisingly, Solomon, saw his movement and evaded the attack. It was a quick one, but for Solomon, he saw the attacker in a very slow motion movement.

"Woah!" He said to himself, astonished of the ability he just discovered.

Failed to hit Solomon, the four men in black hood simultaneously attacked him. Unfortunately, they all fail. Solomon managed to see slowly all of their movements and evaded them before they even hit him.

Solomon fought back with full might, and managed to give each of the four men in black hood devastating attacks. He took all of them down in seconds, and they vanished in to thin air like a black smoke that came out of nowhere.

He rushed back towards Sarah's position and carried her up again, and then, he went outside the mansion as quickly as he can.

Once outside, he saw the totally destroyed mansion of their family. "Damn it! What the hell is happening?" He said, very angry and confused.

He walked fast towards the parking area of the mansion while carrying Sarah. He opened the door of his car and put Sarah at the back seat. He opened all the windows of the car and the doors as well, so that Sarah won't be suffocated.

He left Sarah for a while, and ran around the whole mansion to look for any survivors. Sadly, he saw no one.

He ran back towards the garage to tend to Sarah, but before he even make it back to Sarah's position, he saw a man wearing a full black like military uniform, in a black metallic mask and a trench coat standing on his way.

The man drew a long katana from his back, and pointed it on him, like he's been invited to a fight.

"I have no weapon, just in case you haven't noticed" Solomon said.

The man drew another katana from his back and threw it in front of Solomon.

Without any knowledge of sword fights, Solomon courageously picked the katana up and attacked the man standing few steps in front of him.

He fought hard, but, no matter how hard he tried, he still loses. The man in the black mask wipes his blade with his left hand, and then suddenly, a blue flame just appeared and covered the katana. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?"

Without even stepping a foot, the man in the black mask, attacked Solomon again. He waved his katana into the air facing Solomon, and then suddenly, a sharp blue flame came out of it, and fired towards Solomon's position. Luckily, Solomon managed to dodge the attack, thanks to his newly discovered ability.

The sharp blue flame slashed six huge trees at the back of Solomon. "Shit! That was close!" Solomon said.

The man in the black mask suddenly disappeared. Much to Solomon's surprise, he's already at he's back "Again!" The man in the black mask shouted.

Solomon recognized the voice of the man standing at he's back "Jerry is that you?"

"Yes, Solomon, it's me, and you're training starts today, just like what your father asked me" Jerry replied.

"What? Training? I don't get it."

"I will explain everything to you later, for now, eat your breakfast, and then we will go to your father's library" Jerry lifted his right hands and faced his palm towards the mansion "renovato" Jerry uttered.

The damages the mansion has earlier, suddenly disappeared. The whole house reverted back to its original appearance like nothing happened. "All of the things that you saw, and experienced, are just illusions, Sarah is still sleeping inside her bedroom, go check her out" Jerry said.
