Solomon Stone: Beyond

Chapter 31

Solomon is now tracking the Demon and Sarah, inside the dark, dense, and very huge woods, that is at the foot of the mountain.

He's having a hard time walking through the area, because of the fallen huge tree branches, overgrown plant vines, and grasses that are blocking his every step. The area is too dark as well; giving Solomon limited vision making him walk more slowly. Huge boulders and small sharp rocks, makes it even harder for him to trek his way to the mountain.

He took out the fairy that is inside his pocket, and asked, if there is something she can do about the things that are blocking their way. "Hey there little fairy, let's get to work. Do you know how we can pass through these things, so we can quickly reach the mountain?"

The fairy princess nodded, and flew above Solomon, and then suddenly, her whole body glows bright like a flash light, giving Solomon a clear vision to the path they are going.

The light the fairy releases not only gives Solomon clear vision, but it magically cleared the things blocking their way as well. The huge vines and overgrown grasses suddenly shrink like it has been cut by a lawn mower, and the fallen huge tree branches floated, and moved towards the side, giving Solomon an easier path to walk on.

Fairies are the guardians of the forest, which is why, they have control over it. They can manipulate the growth of any plants and trees. They can talk to them like they have their own language.

The fairy did her job well, helping Solomon move faster than before. In a matter of minutes, Solomon reached the middle part of the dense woods.

Solomon and the fairy suddenly stopped from moving forward. Four small terrifying creatures, wielding a knife jumped in front of them and blocked their way. The fairy suddenly became angry, and restless, because of the gobbles, the fairies mortal enemies.

"You know them?" Solomon asked, and then the fairy nodded. "Are they friendly?" Solomon asked again, and then the fairy spins her head saying no. "Well then..."

Solomon summoned a long black katana on his right hands, and lit it up with blue flame "You know how to fight?" He asked the fairy, and then much to his surprise, the fairy shape shifted to a human sized armored bear.

"I guess the answer yes" Solomon said, and then, they both charged into battle.

The fairy jumped in front of the two gobbles in the right, and hit it with her claws. The two gobbles propelled onto a huge tree and shattered into pieces.

Solomon swung his katana towards the three gobbles that is in front of him, releasing what seems to be like a form of bluish energy wave. The gobbles saw it coming and managed to dodge the attack, which is why, Solomon teleported on the back of each gobbles and slashed them into pieces.

He thought that the gobbles are already dead, that is why, he teleported beside the fairy and asked her to continue on walking towards the foot of the mountains. "Let's go, we do not have much time, I guess their already dead."

The fairy seems to be stressed, she keeps on growling, and it doesn't want to move.

He faced towards the area where the fairy is staring. Much to his shock, he saw each of the decapitated gobbles, multiplying their selves into two "Are you kidding me?" he said, stressed.

The fairy and Solomon moved backwards a little, because the five gobbles before, just doubled their numbers. Not only that, other of the gobbles joined them as well, making Solomon and the fairy, heavily outnumbered.

Determined to save Sarah, and end the demon once and for all, Solomon charged into battle even if he knows that they can't easily win.

While fighting tremendously, Solomon suddenly heard simultaneous gun shots coming from behind. He saw some police officers at the back, backing him up. 'What the hell are you doing here?" He shouted.

"The reason you're also here! We are trying to save Sarah! Whatever you are planning, do it now, let us deal with this things" the policeman shouted back.

The bear signaled Solomon to ride his back, so that they can get pass through the gobbles. He quickly ride the back of the bear, and then, the bear dashed with an amazing speed passing through the huge numbers of gobbles., like a speeding bullet.

"Wow! I never though you could do that!" Solomon said, amazed on the fairies abilities.

The fairy suddenly turned back to its original form, and seems to be losing massive amount of spirit energy. Solomon took the fairy and hid her to a small tree he saw on his side. "I can take it from here, rest now" he said, worried about the fairy.

Huge explosions and gun shots has been heard by the dark warlock coming from outside. He teleported towards where the loud noises are coming, and then, he found out that it came from a large number of mortals fighting the gobbles.

He summoned a massive amount of skeleton soldiers from the field, adding force to the gobbles protecting the area. The peaceful woods suddenly became a battlefield, between the humans and the underworld.

The warlock saw Solomon getting near the entrance of the mountain, which is why he teleported in front of him.

"Who the hell are you?" Solomon asked, curious of the man who just magically appeared in front of him standing on his way.

The dark warlock didn't answered, not even a single word came out from his mouth, and instead he summoned the blood golems in front of Solomon.

"What the?!" Solomon said, surprised, then the dark warlock disappeared in thin air.

The five blood golems summoned by the warlock, started rushing towards Solomon. The golems displayed an amazing speed, too fast for creatures as big as them.

Solomon successfully dodged the attacks of the golems, however, he can't get pass through it. Solomon summoned his black katana, and fought back. He managed to kill one of the golems, because his katana is enveloped with magic. He tried to kill another one, but he failed, the remaining golems are stronger and faster, than the first one.

Having a very hard time fighting the golems, a man in a black mask, carrying a black sword suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Jerry?" Solomon said, very happy to see the old butler.

"Solomon, go head, save Sarah, let me take care of these golems, it seems that we have huge problems than that demon" Jerry said.

Solomon teleported at the back of the golems, and continued his way going to the mountain to save Sarah.

The police force's numbers are getting smaller and smaller, because a lot of them are now severely wounded.

"Back a little bit!" One of the commanding officer shouted. The police force moves a bit backwards, but still continued on firing towards the legion of the undead. Much to their amazement, beams of white light suddenly came down from the sky. Members of the mystic council just joined the fight, including Lynch, the lord of the warlocks, Solomon's father.

One council member summoned a shield to protect the police force, and then they've been teleported outside the woods.

The mystic beings started their assault on the undead. They fired blue plasma beams from their fingers to the skeleton army, destroying all of them.

Lynch on the other hand, destroyed all of the gobbles by doing a high level of magic. He summoned a huge tsunami out of nowhere, dissolving all the gobbles on its path.
