When we got home, Danger comes out of the trailer with no problem but when we got to his stall he hesitated, then jumped in.
"Whoa boy" I say and unlatch his halter.
"I'm sure he'll get used to it," Hailey said, "it may take a few days but that's alright."
"Ya I know it's just I want to ride him so bad."
"Well you should wait a few days let him get used to the place first," my mom says walking towards us. I sigh and say ok but still wish I could ride him.The next day I just went out and gave him a good grooming and lots of love. Then the day after that I hooked him up to the lunge line. He didn't know what to do at first, but then he started to go crazy and almost ran me over a few times.
Finally the day that I could ride him came I had lunged him just before with the saddle on then Grace came over to watch, Hailey would come later.
"So how has he been," Grace asked
"Fine he finally got used to going in and out of his stall"
I mounted up and he squirmed a bit but then when I asked him to walk, with no legs just my voice, he bolted and the next thing I knew I was on the ground.-----------------------------------------
