I told my parents about the amazing day I'd had with Danger, smiling wide as I did so. "He was amazing! Its like he's done it all his life"
My mother smiled at me "that's wonderful darling, I'm glad you've been able to ride him"
"Me too, I can't wait to continue tomorrow and.." I started but was cut off
"Not tomorrow or Thursday, you and Lilly are staying after school for tutoring" my father said
I sighed and looked down for a moment, "fine, may I be excused?"
My father nodded and I got up, rinsed off my plate and headed upstairs to my room. I walked in and pulled out my phone, calling Hailey. "Hey!" I said when she picked up
"Hey!" she said back "What's up?"
"So I have already skipped a day of working with Danger and my dad reminded me that I have tutoring for the next two days. I was wondering if you could come and lunge Danger one of those days, I don't care what days or how long just more then 15 minutes"
"Of course! Lily," her Tinker mare, "and I just got back form a rodeo so I'm giving her a break for a few days"
"Oh ya I forgot about that, how'd that go?" I asked her
"It went really well, we got a first, two thirds and a fourth"
I smiled "that's amazing! I'm so proud of you both, and thank you again, I have to go and get ready for bed, night!"
"good night!"
The next morning I woke up a late and had to rush to get ready. I though on some clothes and ran downstairs to grab a banana and a muffin for in the car. As I ran past my mom's room I called out, "Bye Mom, I'm leaving for school. Oh and Hailey is coming by some time today or tomorrow after school to lunge Danger"
"Sounds good" she called back "have a great day at school."
With that I hopped into Zoey's car and we drove off to school.

So as I said I'm trying to get back into this story but the chapters will probably kind of short as I have an idea for a sequel that I'm really excited about so I'm trying to get through this one but also not rush through it too much.
