"Annabelle!" I hear Hailey say, she must have just gotten here, "are you ok?"
"Ya I'm fine it's just some dirt."
"Do you want me to get your mom?" Grace asks me.
"No, I'm fine," I stand up and get Danger and hop right back on.
"I'm just going to ask him to walk a few more times with no pressure, just a soft voice." I do this, but the same thing happens and I end up in the dirt again. After a few more times, I just walk him around the arena because I have a few scrapes and I don't want more to show my mom.
"There you go boy" I say when he's in his stall, "you win today but I'm going to keep trying.
When I walk inside my mom sees he 3 scratches on my face and says, "are you ok? Did Danger do this to you?"
"No mom he was fine I just tripped over a rock and fell." I answer, turning away.
"Ok then. Did Grace and Hailey go home?"
"Ya they left after i put Danger away."
After that I just walk up to my room in silence. When I get their I flop on my bed.
Ugh. I think to myself, why was he so difficult they said he was trained. I just sit on my bed and think, but I end up falling asleep. The next morning, when I wake up the first thing that I think of is, how can I get Danger to listen to me? I think about this all day, even while lungeing him. The I thought of something that Hailey did when she first got Lily, her Tinker mare. Desensitization. I get out all my pool toys and blankets, ribbons, and other things. But when I wave them around or make loud noises with them, the most he does is flinch.
"Ugh. Danger what am I going to do with you?" I say to him one day.
After a few months, about 5 or 6, I finally get him to walk without throwing me to the ground.-----------------------------------------hey guys I know this chapter was a bit longer but I may start making them longer and i am thinking of making this a series. The first two about Danger and Annabelle in Belle's point of view. Then one, maybe two about Hailey and her horses in Hailey's point of view, and the same thing with Grace. What do you guys think. Please tell me in the comments thanks - Danger
