"Belle," is the first thing I hear when I get home "are you ok!"
"I'm fine it's just a cast they said I can get it off in six weeks."
My mom starts to go on and on about what cautions to take, but i just up to my room and lied on my bed. All of the sudden my dad walks in.
"Hey," he says ,"how ya feeling?"
"Fine."
"Are you sure? Do you want anything."
"Unless you can make me better so I can ride Danger again, then no"
"That's the thing," he said, "your mom and I have been talking about you and Danger. We are thinking of sending him the kill pens because he's un-rideable."
"What! No Dad you don't understand," I say tears forming in me eyes, "I have done more with him than anyone ever has."
"I know but.."
I can't take anymore. I get up, and run right passed my dad and out to Danger's stall the tears now streaming down my face. When I get outside I burry my face in Danger's mane. "Oh Danger, they want to send you away but I won't let them I promise." He just whinnied.
"I love you so much even if you did this to me." Gesturing to my cast. Eventually my legs get tired so I close the stall door, and sit outside the door. I just start talking to him like he's one of my old friends and eventually I fall asleep.
