I leaned against Danger's neck and smile as my mom took a picture of the two of us, the ribbons clipped to Danger's bridal. I scratched his neck as he stomped his foot impatiently. "Mom, please hurry" I said "Danger is getting impatient"

"Okay, okay" she smiled a took one last photo. "There, both of you can be done." I let out a sigh of relief as I got down, taking the ribbons off of his bridal before taking him to get untacked.

Once I finished I gave Danger a good brush before giving him a few treats. "You really deserved these today" I smiled at him.

As I put Danger's tack away, a lady with a clipboard walked up to me. "Are you Annabelle Blackwell?"

I set my saddle on its rack in the trailer before replying. "Yes, that's me" I smiled "and you are?"

She stuck out her hand, "I am Lisabeth Grey, head trainer at River Ridge Riding Academy, I'm here about your application."

I thought back to sending in an application for River Ridge, a small but prestigious riding academy that is hard to get into because of its small size. "Oh ok, what about it?"

The lady smiled "I am here to tell you that after reviewing your application and riding ability, you have been accepted into the academy."

My face lit up, "Are you serious? T-that's amazing! Thank you so much"

"Of course, we will send you the packing list and other information soon. Please know that you will have to sign up for your classes online as well. I will see you at the beginning of the school year."

I ran up to my mom tell her the big news, then walked back to Danger hugged him. "Thank you for everything, for being my first trouble horse, and for getting me into this school, I can't wait for our next adventure.
