You ever look up at the stars that sit amongst the deep sky and imagine how it would be to embody their likeness?
How each time you are looking at that full, wide dark vastness...its' the reflection of the water surrounding you.
The mirror image that makes up the sky, a seemingly younger version of the ocean's being.
It's reflection, unlike it's owner... smooth and full of bright flecks that freckle it's face.
The ocean strong, brave, with wise ruffles dressing its' mold.
But...what if it's the reverse..
The sky is the elder and the sea is its' past self.
Oh...to be those stars up in the sky....
Imagine if those stars are just scars that transformed into what they truly are...beauty marks.
The marks of the warrior seas.
Maybe...thats why scars sounds so much like stars.
Maybe...just maybe that symbolic sky...is a reflection of ourselves. Our journey that makes us who we are and the wounds we have sequestered for so long by the brightness of our smiles.
