Plentiful Grain

You are a handcrafted bird, feathered with steel plates.

You are a downpour of rain from mother nature's water spout upon a summer steamed sidewalk.

You are a clear, iridescent moon whose glowing skirt flows across the sand carpeted beach.

A homemade aluminium rocket cradled in the soft palms of a playful child.

You are a confident stride on the first day on the job.

A cheat day after a carb-less week.

A delectable breakfast and a handmade note after a perfectly passionate night.

You are a blue moon, thought to be tainted by the dyed sky around it, yet are pure in color.

You are a blanket on a frosty day, who has just been tumbled around in a dryer and injected with the fresh scent of linen.

A blade slicing through droplets of rain in a motion slowed down for your eye's personal pleasure.

You're' a song that takes a person's happiness from the bowels of their mind, places it on an escalator and lets it wash over their face.

You are plentiful grain that will produce a bounty of wheat for the exhausted farmer.

You are not worthless.

You are not helpless.

You are, in all your being, a simple pleasure.
