Rain pelters the face of a tin roof.
The aroma of brewing arabica beans fills the volume of the house.
Rigid, aged pages of a book slip through my fingertips.
My feet swing back and forth just grazing the freshly cleansed wooden flooring.
The voice of the angered wind aims at my windows, attempting to shatter their structure.
My eyes glance up in the direction in which the music of pattering feet happens to be playing.
Laughter.
It echoes through the halls, bounces off the white stained walls and into my eardrums.
My eyes return to my book.
My mouth turns up on my face and transforms into a blissful smile.
Simplistic moments.
An inviting hug.
A restless night that is made ultimately better by slipping into your lovers flannel shirt.
A waft of your mother's perfume that offers a comforting smell that brings you back to childhood.
You will never forget the Simplistic memories
The ones that will cherish your heart as much as you cherish the thought.
Family. Friends.
The creators of joyfulness.
I begin to slip into a slumber that is induced by the soothing sounds of Simplistic memories.
