After that nights concert, we all headed back to the hotel, ready to collapse.  I put on some pajamas and hugged Gemma goodnight.

"I am sleeping at Liam's tonight.  He doesn't know... but anyways, I will see you in the morning."  She gave me a nod and then collapsed onto her bed.

I walked out of our room, turning off the light and closing the door quietly.  I faced down the hall and saw Niall sitting at the giant window at the end of the hall.  Seeing him made me realize that I had absolutely no idea what room Liam was sleeping in.  I walked towards him quietly, hoping that Liam would pop out of one of the rooms, but he didn't, and I got closer and closer to Niall.  I was about ten feet behind him when I noticed that he was crying.

His knees were pulled up to his chest with his arms wrapped around them.  His back was shaking a little while moving up and down, depending on how hard he took each sob.  I hadn't seen him cry for a long time and no matter how mad I was at him, I couldn't bare to see him like this.

"Niall?..." I said, taking two steps towards him.  He jolted around to look at me, his eyes red and full of tears.

"Spencer?  What are you doing?"  He asked, releasing his knees so he could stand up.

"I am looking for Liam, I was going to stay the night with him."  He wiped his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Um, yeah he is in my room, well there are separate rooms in each room but he is in mine, but in a separate room.  Just follow me."  I wanted to hug him, but there was still obvious tension between us.

I followed him to his shared room and saw Liam sitting on the couch.  Niall headed straight to his room and shut his door.

"Hey sis, what is wrong with Niall?"  He asked, standing up to hug me.

"I found him crying out in the hall, so I have no clue.  Can I sleep with you tonight?  I have some things that I need to tell you."  He nodded and took me into his room.

"I am going to use the bathroom real fast and then I'll be back in."  I snuggled into his bed and got comfortable.  Almost too comfortable... like the point of falling asleep.  That was until Liam jumped into the bed and made me fly a little off the mattress.  We both laughed at that and then cuddled together.

"Alright, what is going on?  Is Preston alright?"  I hadn't spoken to Preston for three days now and when we did talk, he spent the entire time yelling at me.  I took a deep breath and prepared for the worst.

"I haven't exactly been truthful to you about Preston.  He isn't as great as I have played him out to be."

"Spencer, everyone has a fight now and then with their boyfriend or girlfriend.  What did you fight about?"  He said, holding me tighter.

"Which time?"  This was hard and I was fighting back tears now.  "Liam, we have fought so much that it is a miracle we are still together.  And I don't necessarily want to still be with him."

"Break up with him."

"That's the thing.  I've tried that a few times and it's never ended well."  I could see him getting angrier by the way his eyebrows furrowed.
