I felt the heat radiating off his body against my back. We slept together in the guest room with his room being painted and all. My eyes wouldn't stay shut for anything in the world as I laid there. I kept replaying my melt down in the restaurant over and over in my head. Parker had no idea how much I tried in this relationship. I have forgiven him why couldn't he just forgive me.
"Those two aren't acting like their normal selves," I sat on the terrace just outside of the kitchen. No one knew of my presence hence me eaves dropping on Kathrine and David's conversation. "She's such a lovely girl and has been through so much," I smiled sadly. I considered her as my own mother.
"Parker he's just not in a good space as of right now. I told him on the phone that he should just come back home," she sounded truly worried about him. To be honest I was too everything we've experienced this year was uncharted territory.
I hadn't heard from Liam since the kiss and all the other shit. James and I had a discussion a day after I left the hotel. We talked for quite some time at a coffee shop. I informed him of the unborn child his ex was carrying by his best friend. He acted as if it didn't bother him, but it showed on his face. I guess we both felt the same way pinned against a brick wall while pain took countless blows at us.
After the two in the kitchen went to bed I snuck back upstairs. I opened the bed room door quietly,"Where did you go?" I nearly shit myself looking at Parker sitting on the edge of the bed watching me. "I needed some fresh air," I leaned against the door.
"Come," It took me awhile to get my brain to make my legs move. The floor creaked softly as I took hesitant steps towards him. I stopped in front of him. His eyes never leaving mine,"Do you know what you mean to me." His voice was filled with so much emotion.
I opened my mouth,"Y- yes." He shook his head,"You don't." He held my hands,"I trusted you the day you marched into the library." My heart felt heavy as he stared up at me with glassy eyes,"I think I have loved you even before then."
The words were caught in my throat,"Y- you mean everything to me Parker Vince." I felt the tears sliding down my cheeks,"And I couldn't live without you." He reached up gently wiping away my tears,"Don't cry." I stepped back as he stood up pressing his soft lips against my own trembling ones.
"I want you," He kissed me.
"So bad right now" I jumped into his arms wrapping my legs around him.
"No one's stopping you," he smiled against my lips carrying me to the bed. I pulled down his shorts my lips never leaving his,"I love you" I gasped.
