"What type of drink do you want?" I asked Neal standing at the bar.

"I'll get the gin and tonic," I shook my head he doesn't even know what he's ordering. I looked at the price of the drink my eyes nearly popping out of my head.

"I'll take a regular lemonade," I told the guy as he poured ice into a glass.

I turned around leaning against the bar watching the scene before me. Beautiful girls walked by in skimpy clothing. Guys followed close behind with eyes clouded with lust.

"Your not drinking?" Neal asked standing beside me. I had enough of drinking and doing stupid shit for now,"Not tonight."

He rolled his eyes,"What your mom said you couldn't have fun on guys night out? Or did Elliot take your man card before you left."

I glared at him as he held his stomach bent over laughing,"No Neal" I sighed "I'm just not drinking tonight" I told him. His face was beet red as he wiped away a few tears as he continued to laugh,"I'm just messing with you Parker" he punched me in the arm. The bartender sat his drink on the counter he grabbed it,"Bottoms up." I watched him take a large gulp scrunching his face up at the bitter taste,"What the fuck it that!"

I laughed,"Are you okay?" I slapped his back as he coughed up his lungs trying to catch his breath,"Shit that burns." I guess my old buddy hasn't had a drink in awhile.

"When's the last time you had a drink?" I asked him as he wiped his mouth on his sleeve.

"P- prom," He coughed viciously into his arms.

"I think you should have stuck with something light man," he nodded taking small sips of the drink.

"Yeah, but I'm not wasting any money tonight this thing was almost twenty bucks," he frowned staring into the glass. I shook my head looking across the almost dark venue. The air was hot and stuffy as all clubs were. For a Friday night it was pretty empty despite the overcrowded dance floor. Usually you wouldn't even have a place to stand by the bar.

Neal insisted we go out like real men tonight since he got into town. A couple of girls stood over in the corner watching us. I noticed the cute brunette with what had to be tequila in her glass eyeing me like her next meal. She winked at me turning to giggle with her friends. I looked down into my glass of lemonade. Here I am that lame college guy drinking lemonade in the club.

"I thin she wantss meh," Neal slurred. It's only been five minutes and he had downed the entire glass full of alcohol. "Go talk to her," I smiled nodding in their direction. This was going to be good.

"Yo thin I shoud?" He said grinning stretching his arms and cracking his neck prepping himself. I held my breath trying to contain my laughter.

I shrugged taking a gulp of my lemonade,"Why not! She's clearly checking you out." I pointed to the shorter blonde one actually checking him out.

He slapped me on the back,"Watch mee p- pic up chickkss." I watched Neal stumbled into a few people before he made it over to the group of girls. He turned around giving me the thumbs up before actually speaking. I saw the girls face change from amused to what had to be disgust.

Neal said something as the girls retreated into the crowd. I watched his failed attempt at picking up chicks laughing my ass off. He walked back over to me frowning,"T- theyy di not like m- my jok bouut vaginas." He leaned against my shoulder holding himself up.

I helped him stand placing a couple twenties down on the counter for the drinks,"Let's get you home man." What a night out we didn't even last until one o' clock.
