"Jess, when are we gonna get there?" I asked.
"We'll be in Oklahoma City in an hour. Try to go to sleep for a bit." Jess said.
"Can we stop at a gas station? I need to check on Taz." I say pleadingly.

Jess stops at the nearest gas station and I get out and go to the trailer. I open the side door a check Taz's hay and water. He still has plenty of each thing. Then, I fix one of his leg wraps before getting out of the trailer and securing the door. I get back in the truck and smile at Jess.

We start driving again and I soon fall asleep.

"Kenz." Jess whispers as he lightly shakes me.
"I'm awake." I say and sit up a bit.
"I got us registered and I put Taz in his stall." He says.
"Thank you so much." I thank and kiss him softly on the lips.
"Do you want to go lay down in the living quarters?" Jess asked and I nodded.

He helped me out of the truck and we went back to the trailer. Jess opened the door to the living quarters and we walked inside. He shut and locked the door behind us.

I laid down on the bed and Jess laid down beside me. He began to kiss me before moving on top of me. Jess's hands roamed my body and I felt him start to take my pants off. I pushed him away from me.

"What's wrong?" Jess asked with a hurt look on his face.
"I promised myself that I wouldn't have  sex until I'm married." I confessed.
"I'm so sorry, Kenz. I should've talked to you about it before I did anything." He apologized.
"It's okay, Jess. It's not because of you. I just can't break the promise I made to myself and god." I said and kissed him softly.
"I understand, Kenzie." Jess said and hugged me.

We've been together for 5 months now. These 5 months have been amazing, and I don't know what I'd do without Jess.  He means so much to me, and I think I love him.

"Kenz, I'm going to take a shower if that's okay." Jess said and kissed my forehead.
"It's okay." I said and smiled.
"Okay. I won't be too long." He said before getting his clothes and going into the bathroom.

I checked my phone and I had several notifications and texts. I ignored them all. 10 minutes later, Jess emerged from the bathroom without a t-shirt on and I stared at his toned stomach.

"I forgot to take a shirt to the bathroom." Jess said and smiled before slipping on a Chevy Trucks t-shirt.

Then, he laid down beside me and nuzzled his head into my neck. I giggled slightly when I felt his hot breath on my neck. Jess began to softly kiss my neck and I smiled. I felt him leave a hickey that'll definitely be visible if I don't put makeup on it. I ran a hand through his wet hair and he looked me in the eyes.

"I love you, Kenzie." Jess said and I could tell that he truly meant it.
"I love you too, Jess." I said and kissed his lips softly.
