"Mackenzie, we really need to go. I'm gonna be late for my event." Jess yelled from downstairs.

I walked out of the bathroom and headed down the stairs. I realized that Jess had already carried my bags out to the truck.

"Babe, we'll have plenty of time." I say and kiss his cheek gently.
"You want anything for breakfast?" Jess asked.
"It's 3:30 am, I'll eat later." I answered and yawned.
"You can sleep in the truck." He said and led me out to the truck.
"Why are you so stressed?" I asked.
"This is my first PBR event. I have to do good." Jess confessed.

I put my hand on his thigh and made circles. After being on the road for a while, I fell asleep.

Jess wakes me up when we are somewhere in Wyoming. We get coffee and breakfast before getting back on the road. We are going to Dallas, Texas!!!!!

We stop again in Denver, Colorado to stretch our legs and use the rest stop. I've been very car sick today and I don't know why because I'm never car sick. We get back in the truck and I mention my sickness to Jess.

"Are you still on the pill?" Jess asked.
"No. I stopped it after we got married." I answered.
"Babe, I didn't use a condom on our honeymoon. I just figured that you were still on the pill." He confessed.
"Shit. This isn't good Jess. I can't be pregnant." I freaked out.
"Kenz, it wouldn't be such a bad thing." Jess said and smiled.
"Babe, I'm only 22. I'm not ready for a child." I said and I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"Mac, calm down. You need to get a test first before you make assumptions." Jess said and squeezed my hand.

At the next town, I went into the Walmart and bought a box of condoms and a pregnancy test. I'll do the test once we get to our hotel room in Dallas. I got back in the truck and we continued our drive. I love heading to events with Jess because we get to spend quality time together and I love watching him ride.

When we get to our hotel in Dallas, we carry our things inside and get our keys before heading up to our room. We unload our suitcases and Jess turns on the tv.

"Babe." I say quietly.
"Yes?" He questioned.
"Can you come into the bathroom with me so I can do this test?" I asked.
"Of course." Jess answered and followed me into the bathroom.

He didn't watch as I peed on the stick but he looked at the test as soon as I was done.

"How long until we know?" Jess asked nervously and I looked at the box.
"10 minutes." I said and set a timer on my phone.

Jess and I laid on the couch and watched tv while we waited. I felt Jess put a hand on my stomach.

"I bet there's a little baby in here." He said and smiled.
"Do you think we are ready for a kid?" I asked,
"If you're pregnant, we'll make it work." Jess assured.

My phone timer went off and we headed into the bathroom to check the test. There are two lines on it which means I'm pregnant. Jess looks over my shoulder at the test.

"What does that mean?" He asked.
"We're pregnant." I said and smiled faintly.
"Ohmygosh, really?" Jess questioned.
"Yes. We are going to have a baby." I said.

Jess picked me up and spun me around.

"Don't be too excited yet. We still need to go see an actual doctor." I said.
"When are we gonna tell our family?" He asked.
"After the first appointment." I answered.
"Okay. I can't believe that I'm going to be a dad." Jess cheered as he picked me up again.
