Throughout the original Unova journey Hilbert encounters N. Although he is thought to be the leader of Team Plasma and wants to separate humans and Pokémon, he still takes an interest in Hilbert regardless of the difference in opinion. N is disappointed in the disagreement by the end and wants his final battle to be against Hilbert.

My thoughts — I like this pairing despite having no personal attachment to these two. Ferriswheelshipping (will cover later) and Isshu are pretty evenly matched for me as I love Hilbert and Hilda and think they both look cute with N.
