Iris and Georgia are strong, unfriendly rivals. However, Georgia really wants Iris to succeed in her dream of being a Dragon Master, which is uncommon for the relations they have with each other. They tease each other a good bit but they still somewhat secretly want the other to do well. Georgia's Vanilluxe seems to have a crush on Iris' Axew, and as Professor Oak and Brock have said; Pokémon sometimes represent the feelings of their trainer.

My thoughts — Iris thinks everyone is immature so I can see her getting together with her rival. I skipped most of Best Wishes but I do really like this pairing; it's about tied with wishful.
