These gym leaders have made advances on each other, generally as Grant flirting with Viola. The two face each other at the Battle Chateau as Duke and Duchess and Grant's Onix eventually takes out Viola's Surskit. They're both very classy about it, but they show signs of romantic interest none the less. In the battle against Team Flare Grant protects Viola and holds her close.

My thoughts — How badass is their ship name? These two were adorable in the anime, and I shipped it the moment we were introduced to Grant. There's not enough fan works of these two.
