Serena and Shauna are very close friends on top of being rival performers. They're each other's biggest fan and always support the other, often getting touchy and considerably flirty. One of these times is when Shauna hugs Serena at a showcase and it looks an awful lot like she's kissing her. Shauna straight up tells Trevor and Tierno that Serena is a cute girl when she first sees her on Pokévision. In game Shauna is designed to have a crush on both Serena and Calem, so that's that.
