The Outlaw and the Scavenger

Peter Quill, a man of Earth,loved many things an average young man would love. He loved adventure. He loved drinking(unless it got too much). But most of all, he loved music. Everywhere he went, he would take his beloved Walkman, which contained songs from his brief childhood on Earth, begin playing it and dance to the music as if no one was watching. That was until he discovered the truth about his parentage. His mother had died of cancer just before Peter had left Earth, and that tumour was planted by none other than Peter's evil and corrupt father Ego, who had attempted to use Peter as a puppet in his plan to cover himself over everything that existed, therefore destroying the universe as we know it. But when Peter refused, Ego cruelly used Peter to begin the expansion, and destroyed his Walkman. But with the help of his friends, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and newly discovered Celestial powers, he destroyed his father with no regrets and no mercy - a fitting way to end such twisted evil.
But despite his Walkman being destroyed, he still listens to his music - using a Zune personal music player. He took his Zune on an adventure alone - with the other Guardians staying behind and respecting Peter's personal crusade.
This journey took him to the planet of Takodana, a favourite retreat of his due to the large,expansive lakes, lush greenery and the castle of Maz Kanata, where he relaxed and drank at in the evenings. At that bar, Peter caught eye of a beautiful girl, unlike anything he'd seen before, even Gamora. Her hair was brown, and braided with three buns down the back of her head. Her eyes were sparkling brown, and she carried a large staff, and in a holster, she also carried a lightsaber. But before he could approach her, he heard a terrified shout from a random man.

'The First Order! They're here! RUN!'

The bar then erupted into a scene of mass panic as an army of storm troopers suddenly burst through the doors of the cantina. Leading them was a man, wearing a black cloak and a mysterious, intimidating helmet which may have concealed something terrible behind it. He wielded an unstable red lightsaber with two small crossguard blades inbetween the long, main red blade. It was Kylo Ren, leader of the Knights of Ren and a superior commander of the First Order. He then spoke in a distorted, muffled and deepened voice that instantly struck fear into Peter's heart.

'The girl. Find her.'

The girl then ran away in a paranoid and sudden shock of terror, attenpting to head for the cellar. It was at that moment, that Peter realised what Kylo Ren and the First Order were looking for.
They were looking for the girl.
The innocence and beauty of the girl had enamoured Peter, and the thought of such a pretty and innocent woman being harmed enraged him. He donned his mask, took his guns and began firing at the stormtroopers, killing many of them, and causing others to flee from the cantina. Maz then emerged from her bar, astonished at the act of heroism she had just witnessed. 'Who are you?' she asked. Peter took off his mask. 'My name is Peter Quill,' he replied, 'and I am also known as Star-Lord.'
'Are you with the Resistance?' Maz asked. 'No,' Peter replied, 'but I know these a-holes are up to no good.'
Peter paused for a moment. 'Who and where is that girl who was just at your bar? That girl with the staff and the lightsaber?' he asked.
'Her name is Rey,' Maz replied, 'A former scavenger from the planet of Jakku. She recently discovered that she was strong with the Force, and has been training in the arts of the Jedi with Luke Skywalker. The First Order have been looking for her so that they can interrogate her to find Luke, and their leader, Supreme Leader Snoke has wanted to turn Rey to the dark side.'
There was an ignition of lightsabers from below. 'I've gotta save her,'said Peter,'I believe it's the right thing to do.'
'If you wish to save Rey, you must go.
Now!' Maz replied, and upon hearing this, Peter donned his mask and rushed downstairs, armed with his Kree pistols. Halfway down the stairs, he hesitated, knowing of the danger he was about to put himself through. But then he realised that danger was just a secondary factor of his life, and that every time he had ended up in peril, he made it out alive. So he slowly and stealthily carried on down the rest of the stairs. He then heard voices. Upon arriving downstairs, Peter saw the girl lying on the floor, her lightsaber and staff far away from her. Kylo Ren was stood over her, lightsaber ignited. Peter quickly hid behind a stone, attempting to avoid detection.
'Rey. You will now come with me to Starkiller Base, and Snoke will show you the truth about the Force. I also have one question. Where is Luke Skywalker?' said Kylo Ren through his deep muffled voice.
'I'm not giving you any information, and I do not wish to join you! You killed Han Solo, your own father! I will not let you hurt Luke!' Rey replied.
'Then you shall die instead then!' Kylo Ren replied. He raised his lightsaber, about to deliver the fatal blow.

'HEY ASSHOLE! YOU LET HER GO!' Peter shouted. He had emerged from his hiding place, with guns in hand. Kylo Ren turned around. 'I don't know much about you or your motives for doing this, but you leave her alone!' Peter said, taking off his mask. Kylo Ren then approached Peter. Peter grabbed his guns and shot at Kylo Ren, but Ren used the Force to freeze the bullets in the air as well as Peter himself, and all Peter could do was watch as the evil dark, cloaked figure approached him. Kylo Ren then used the Force to torture Peter by Force-pulling his face. Peter screamed in pain. It was too much to endure.The last time he had felt such pain, Ego had been draining Peter and using him as a battery with his energy tentacles. 

'Who are you?' Kylo Ren asked.
'My name is Peter Quill, but you might know me as Star-Lord! PLEASE, STOP!' was the reply.
'Are you a member of the Resistance, Star-Lord?' Kylo Ren then asked.
'No!' Peter replied, 'but you need to leave her alone!'
'Oh is this love at first sight? You think that your foolhardy acts of chivalry is what will stop me? So let me ask you this...Do YOU know where Luke Skywalker is?' Kylo Ren asked.
'Uhh, ummm...'
'ANSWER ME!' Kylo Ren screamed. He was now filled with rage and frustration. 'ANSWER ME, OR I WILL CUT OFF YOUR ARM!'
'NEVER!' Peter yelled. 'I DON'T KNOW!'
A lightsaber ignited.
Kylo Ren left Peter, who was still frozen, and turned around. Rey was stood there, filled with rage and anger, and with lightsaber ignited.
'Kylo Ren!' Rey yelled. 'You must stop! He has nothing to do with this!'
'I don't care, Rey. I am only here for you. And it seems that neither of you are willing to tell me the location of Luke Skywalker, no matter what I can do.' Kylo Ren asked.
'You will never find him!' Rey screamed. Enraged, Kylo Ren attacked Rey and they duelled, as a still frozen Peter watched. Kylo Ren managed to get Rey on the ground again, but Rey then got back up and slashed him across the face with her lightsaber, as she had in their first encounter on Starkiller Base. Shortly afterwards, Peter was unfrozen by Rey, but as she carried him away, Peter fell unconscious...
