Chapter 7

Kristin's POV

It took me a while to process all this.

First: Grace had just turned into a faerie.

Second: Brittany had just turned into a black Harpie. (Ya I know Greek.)

Third: I was a guardian.

"What!?"

I said, this was the craziest thing I have ever heard. But I mean, after what I had just seen......I knew it was true.

"I know, and I'm sorry I hadn't told you sooner, it's just......I didn't want to put you in danger."

Grace looked nervous and scared, like another creature was going to come and take us both away.

"What danger, Grace? And why should I believe any of this?"

Jared asked,

Of all the things to ask he asks 'why should I believe you?'

Instead of punching him in the arm a said,

"Jared, she just grew wings, and killed a giants chicken! What more proof do you want?!"

I scowled him.

I gestured to her wings, and dress, and flowers, and all that magic junk going on around her.

Jared's face went dark red.

"I mean, not the," he gestured towards Grace with her wings, and stuff "I mean the guardian, stuff. Prove that to me."

Grace smiled wickedly, and I knew she about to impress Jared.

"Alright. Fine."

She said, and she smirked.

She lifted her hand and her hands started glowing and I started to scoot back, but I still wanted to see what she would do.

"What th-!"

He didn't even get to finish his sentence.

Water popped out of the ground all around him. He was covered in a big ball of water. He eyes were wide open, and the funniest thing was his face, his head was rapped in a bubble to let him breath but he was floating around like a stick through rapids in a river.

I was looking at him trying not to crack a smile, when I realized Grace's hands were in her lap, and mine were raised towards the water bubble. She was smirking and on the verge of laughing

That's when I realized, I was wearing a dark, blue dress, glowing blue, with light blue wings on my back.

I was a water guardian.
