Chapter 28

Graces POV

I punched him.

I. Freaking. Punched him.

Not like in the arm playfully, I hit him hard.

I punched him in the face.

I don't care if it was not very powerful, I still punched him.

In the face.

"You, Jared Wood, are the most idiotic person, I have ever met!"

He was rubbing his nose.

"Well, geez, Grace you didn't have to punch me."

Kristin was just looking at Jared then at Cole-er Ashton's body.

"Right now, is not the time for sarcasm Jared!"

I yelled at him angrily.

"Honestly how stupid does one boy get!?"

I stomped over to him.

"Do you even see what Co-er Ashton, did for you!?"

Jared looked at me confused, then over at Ashton's body.

"I-I don't understand."

I was filled with so much rage, I wanted to punch him again.

"Ashton gave his freaking life for you to come back to life, because he was sad that Kristin was so broken hearted that you were dead! And so, he used the resurrection spell, and traded his own life for yours!"

I screamed, there were about a million miles of thorns growing behind me.

It seemed like realization hit Jared.

"He-he, he didn't even know me."

He looked up at Kristin and me.

"Ya, but he sure as hell knew Kristin!"

I was breathing heavily now.

"I need a second."

I walked a little farther away from Jared and Kristn.

All I manage to grow, at the moment, is thorns, so I sit down and make a big dome of thorns.

"Grace, calm-calm down."

Tears were starting to pop out of my eyes.

"They freaking better not be able to hear me."

The thorns moved and got a little tighter.

"Tha-thanks."

I hiccuped to my plants.

I went to full on sob mode.
