Chapter 15
Grace's POV
I new Morgana could track us, and I knew she would, but I didn't think she was that fast.
New monsters were attacking us.
They had snake bodies, and dark black scales, there fangs looked two inches long, and way to big for their mouthes.
And anywhere they 'slithered' the grass died.
"Well, I didn't know she would send these!"
I screamed
Kristin and Jared we both fighting the snakes, there were only two. But they were plenty of hard to deal with.
Jared was using a metal poll he found in the grass to try and beat the thing.
His pole was melting.
Kristin was shooting water out of anything she could, to hit the things.
And me? I was trying to grow plants so fast, I thought I was going to pass out.
"You know, Jared!" I yelled breathlessly.
"Not in the mood for a guessing game right now Grace!"
He yelled back, smacking a snake thing in the face with his metal pole.
"Now! Would be a good time to put on a dress!"
I yelled. I hope he got it.
"Your really bringing that up, now!?"
He yelled, hitting the snake again with the pole, but this time the snake dodged, and attacked I bite Jared.
He was to slow to move.
The snake sank its fangs deep into Jared's arm.
He started screaming, I would be too, if I had a 8 foot snake's teeth in my arm.
"Jared!"
I screamed.
I had started running over to him, but before I could-
"Get. Off. Me. You. Stupid, piece of crap, snake."
I stopped in my tracks.
The snake shriveled up.
Jared had flames erupting around him.
He had a spear in his hand.
Half the woods was on fire.
Jared, was the fire guardian.
"Yay."
