[ Liam's POV ]

A hot tear trickled down my cheek slowly like a river. I'm not the emotional type most times, but tonight is the exception. It's hard being away from Danielle for so long. She's been gone for a whole week now. That's a whole seven days without my baby. We have only been able to Skype a few days and most of the time it was only about ten minute conversations. It sucked. She always seems to be too busy with dance and her friends, so I usually just leave her a sweet message. As far as I know, she's headed to Vegas tomorrow..

"Knock knock!" a voice boomed from the main room. I quickly wiped the dried tears off my cheek and rubbed them into my trousers. If the boys saw that I was upset or in pain, they wouldn't leave me alone until I told them what was wrong. And trust me, I don't have time for that. None of us do.

I could hear muffled giggles and many thunderous footsteps headed towards my room. The chatting got louder as they approached my door. Goodness, do they ever shut up? No. No, they don't. That's why I'm the sensible one.

"Liam!" Harry was the first one to reach my room. His hair was tousled nicely, his green eyes were sparkling and bright, and he was dressed like he was going out. Nothing too fancy, just his regular outfit; his blazer, a white tee, Chinos, and white converse.

"What?" I asked a bit bitterly.

Zayn, who came next, winced. "Did someone put some extra grumpy in Mr. Grumpy's grumpy cereal this morning?"

Louis chuckled. "What? That didn't even make sense."

"It doesn't have to make sense," Zayn shot back. "It was funny."

"It was lame!" Harry retorted with a sly grin at his band mate.

"I'm Zayn Malik, I don't have to make sense!" Zayn replied, giving a somewhat annoyed look at Harry. The curly haired boy just laughed.

I rolled my eyes. Do they have to do this here? Now? Really? Only then did I notice that everyone was dressed and I was the only one still in my pajamas. Louis had on a navy-and-white striped top, red trousers, red suspenders, and navy TOMS. Zayn was sporting his green varsity jacket with some jeans and green Nikes. Niall even had on nice jeans and a Jack Wills hoodie with white Nikes.

"Are you lads going out?" I asked, eyeing over each of their outfits.

Niall nodded. "We are going bowling and we're taking you."

"I don't want to go bowling, though!" I groaned loudly and plopped backwards onto the bed.

Zayn scoffed. "We don't care what you want! I'm Zayn Malik. Whatever I say goes!"

He shot me a cheeky smile.

"Is that your excuse for everything?" Louis asked, placing a hand on Zayn's shoulder. "Why do you do that?"

"I'm Zayn Malik, I don't need a reason!"

Niall and Harry laughed and I couldn't help but snicker at Louis' obvious frustration.

"Oh, come on!" Harry groaned, grabbing my hand and tugging hard. "You've been locked up in here for ages moping about Danielle. She'll be back! Come have some fun with us!"

I yanked my hand away from Harry's quickly. "No."

"Did you just tell Zayn Malik no?"

I nodded. "Yup!"

"Aw, shit," Louis joked with a giggle. "He just told Zayn Malik no. Who does he think he is?"

"I think I'm Liam Payne and I know that I'm not going bowling!" I snorted.
