Hinihingal na si Evry sa ginagawang ehersisyo pero hindi muna siya titigil. Nagagalit padin kasi siya at kapag tumigil siya ay baka masugod niya ang kapatid niya sa kwarto nito.

Singal niya sa isipin. Ang gago niya kasing kapatid ay sinira ang project niya na pinaghirapan niya buong araw. Ayon dito ay hindi naman nito sinasadya. Kasalanan din daw niya dahil nilagay niya ito kung saan-saan.

"Darling, stop doing that your tired already" nag inhale -exhale na muna siya bago niya sinunod ang mommy niya. Ng tumigil siya sa ginagawa ay nakaamba na ang yakap ng mommy niya sa kanha.

"That's okay darling, we will help you making it again" tumulo ang luha niya at humikbi.

"My, sorry po" paghingi niya ng tawad at niyakap ito lalo. Nakita naman niya ang kapatid niya sa malayo at naka peace sign pa ito habang may hawak na cake. Natawa na lamang si Evry at tinawag ang kapatid.

"Sorry na sis, hindi ko talaga sinasadya" tumango si Evry at niyakap siya. Hinalikan naman siya nito sa noo at nagpasalamat.

"Ipangako mo sa akin na tutulungan mo akong gawin iyon" mataray na sabi niya sa kapatid. Natatawang tumango naman ang kapatid niya at binigay nito ang cake pero nagdadalawang isip siyang kunin ito.

"Alam mo naman na may pageant akong sasalihan bukas diba? Lagot ka kay Mrs. Scott kapag natalo tayo" pananakot niya dito. Umiling na lamang ang kapatid niya at ito na ang kumain sa cake na dala.

"Okay babies, ready yourselves since we will be going to the mall. We will buy those materials Evry needed" she thanks her mom and went to her room. Kailangan niya din kasing gumawa ng ipre-present niya sa opharnage sa susunod na linggo. She's a volunteer in that orphanage nearby.

"Sis, do you want me to list other materials needed?" Nasa pintuan ng silid niya ang kanyang kapatid at hinihintay siya dahil kanina pa tapos ang mommy niya.

"No need, I already listed it in my mind" natatawang sabi ni Evry at tinignan ulit ang sarili bago lumabas upang puntahan ang ina. Napapailing naman sa kanya si Ethan at kulang nalang ay kutusan nito ang kapatid sa pagiging mayabang.

"Ikaw na matalino" tukso ni Ethan sa kapatid. Hindi na ito pinansin ni Evry at sumakay na sa sasakyan. She's in the passenger seat while her brother is in the back seat.

"Are you going to buy materials for the orphanage? I heard that you will be presenting something to the kids" her mom said while driving. Nakatanaw lang siya sa paligid at nilingon ang ina upang kausapin.

"I will buy those materials once I received my winning price in the pageant tomorrow mom." Her mom pouted. Ayaw kasi nito na sariling pera niya ang ginagamit o iyong mga pinaghirapan niya. They have money and her parents can provide but she doesn't want those money— it's not hers.

"Mom, even if you will argue with her all day. You won't win since that's what she's doing every day" her brother laughed while stating those facts.

"We also wanted to help Evry, just ask your father" umiling siya at tinanggihan na ang ina. Ayaw niya talaga at tsaka may matatanggap naman siyang pera sa susunod na araw dahil sa mga tinda niya online.

Nakarating na sila sa mall at pagkapark ng mommy niya ay agad na silang pumasok. Maghahapon na din kasi at baka magtaka pa ang daddy nila dahil wala sila sa bahay.

Agad siyang pumunta sa stationary at kumuha ng mga materyales. Iyong mommy niya ay nagtitingin din ng mga libro sa di kalayuan at ang kapatid niya ay namili din dahil may project ito.

Nilibot niya ang buong stationary area at nang makitang nasa cart na niya lahat ay nilapitan niya ang mommy at kapatid niya upang tanongin kung tapos na ang mga ito.

Namili ang mommy niya ng bagong libro at magazine naman sa kapatid niya kasama ang mga materyales na gagamitin.

When they are done paying for it ay nag-aya ang mommy niya sa isang shoe shop to buy some shoes for her. Ayaw niya sana but pinilit siya ng mommy niya. She needed shoes for the contest kaya hindi na siya umapila.

DIFFERENT COLORED LIGHTS were all over the place. Masakit sa mata pero sanay na siya. Tonight is their schools beauty pageant at lahat ay naghahanda para mapanalunan ang premyo. Maraming sponsors at lahat sila ay ginagawa ang best para manalo.

"Break a leg twinnie" Her brother is supporting her by being her P.A. and dapat lang talaga dahil isa ito sa mga conditions niya upang hindi na niya isipin ang nasirang project niya.

"I will" she winked and looked herself in the mirror. Her night gown is hugging her body trailing her curves and exposing how sexy she is. Ayon nga sa kapatid niya ay sure siyang mag dro-droll ang mga lalaki at maiingit na naman ang mga babae sa school.

Wala naman siyang pakialam dahil sa mga taong iyon dahil ang gusto niyang makuha ay ang mapapanalunang premyo.

For the children that needs her help.

They were called in the stage to showcase their intelligence and beauty. Kung para kanino ang pagsali at paghahanda nila. Parang pang Miss Universe ang ginagawa nila at alam niyang solid ang suporta na meron siya.

"I've been love by my parents all this time. They made it sure that I am well and taken care off, that's why I am dedicating this night to the children I knew in the orphanage near our village" I smiled and looked at the eyes of everyone confidently.

"and I wanted them to feel the same love I felt. Through my way of helping them, I am showing how it feel to be loved by people and that may change their perspective in life..." I paused and counted on one to three before I say my thank you and do my pose before turning back.

Everyone clapped their hands with our answers. All of my co-contestant are really prepared this night. They also prepare a winning answer but I'm not letting my guard down.

Ethan supported me all the way the pageant. Not just a P.A, a brother but also my photographer. Well, aside from being helpful I love capturing my outfits.

"Damn, everyone would die asking your bikini photos" inirapan ko siya at nag prepare na para sa pag announce ng mananalo.

I smiled widely, my left hand on my hips my right leg forward, just a little bit, and my body is ready for the announcement.

"For tonight's Miss University..." everyone shouted for their bets. My classmates have a banner for me and they shouted for my name.

And when the EMCEE announces the winner, everyone shouted with glee. The whole auditorium is so noisy that I can't even hear what's happening. My heart is pounding so fast.

I felt my brother hugged me and he kisses me on my forehead. He is so happy because I won.

"Hard work paid off sis" He said while I am receiving my price. A cheque cost a hundred dollars, a crown, a sash and a bouquet.

"Congratulations" and a never ending congratulations said by everyone.
