Hemily
I woke up just in time enough to see Stone and Danté walk in through the front door and head straight to the kitchen. I looked over at Nyree who happened to be waking up the same time as me.I guess the smell of the food cooking ultimately woke us up. She smiled at me as we quickly rushed over to see what everyone was crowding around. "Nah nah, y'all go sit back down. We can make y'all a plate; the men got this." Monty announced, pushing us away.
"Listen to ya man, Hem." Danté smirked, finally acknowledging me. I rolled my eyes and walked back over to the couch with 'Ree. "How long we been sleep?" I asked her. "A long time. It's almost 6." She mumbled, peeking over at the clock on the wall.
My eyes almost jumped out of my sockets. Where did the time go? "Damn, I didn't even know I was so tired." It had to be all the stress about Armel. I hated still having to talk to him; having to deal with him.
I had to continue to put on this front for him, acting as if I was really planning to kill Monty. I had been stalling just as Jacey requested; he told me to stall as long as possible until they figured out a way to blind side them.
I felt like I was running low on time. How much more stalling until he's had enough? I needed for them to come up with something, and quick. Or else we'd all be in deep. It's like I had so much more to live for now. I finally have a family; always had one.
I had to admit, meeting Monty was the best thing that ever happened to me. He's shown and given me so much, I'd hate to only get to enjoy it for what felt like would only be a limited amount of time. I was loving my life.
"Neither did I. I knew yawns were contagious, but damn." She laughed. All of a sudden, I remembered why I really woke up; I had to pee. I hopped up from the couch and went to the bathroom.
I couldn't help but sigh in relief as I felt the pressure in my bladder slowly fading. Who imagined it could feel this good to pee. I quickly wiped myself and rushed over to the sink to wash my hands.
I'm sure my plate was ready by now, I was starving. Monty and I had a full breakfast before we came over, but that was long slept off. It was time to chow down again.
Monty waved me over just as I closed the bathroom door. "Come and eat, mama." He smiled at me. I got a rush from the way he was looking at me. I had to hide my blush as I sat down on the barstool.
'Ree sat next to me as both Monty and Jacey served us our food. We both dug in before they could even pull their hands away from the plate. "Damn!" Jacey exclaimed, snatching his hand away.
They all watched, stunned as me and Nyree went at it with no breaks. I never knew the guys could make something this good. I didn't know Monty could cook period; usually I'd be the one cooking for him, but I didn't mind.
I liked to spoil him as much as he spoils me. I couldn't help but steal a glance at him and noticed that they were all still watching. "What?" I asked as we looked right back at them. I was kinda mad at the fact that they were watching us so hard.
Danté shook his head and looked over at Monty; Stone too. He bit his lips trying to hide the smile that was slowly starting to show. I looked over at 'Ree who was in the dark just as much as I was.
"What the fuck y'all lookin at?" Nyree muttered, obviously mad at them interrupting her meal. They all bust out laughing and shook their heads. "Nothing." Jacey smiled at her. The way he looked at her as she went back to eating told me something was up; he knew something she didn't know.
I minded my own business and went back to eating too. This chicken fried steak and potatoes were my only concern right now.
