Hounding towards Billy, the inebriate men surrounded him; fists up like amateurs, they only stood in the shadows of a man far more experienced in hand to hand combat.

"I'll say it one more time, in case your drunk ass didn't hear me the first time-" Billy defied them. "Think twice before trying anything embarrassing."

Ignoring his warning, one of the men charged at him, only to miss his target, and nearly tripping over. Not about to lose against some stranger, the man gathered his strength, and threw a punch; he was however, clearly no match for the ex-Marine. In one swift move, the drunkard found himself slammed against the ground, helpless, his arms crushed and detained behind his back. With little effort, Billy made sure the man knew he had no chance of winning this, as he scrapped his face against the pavement. You lose, asshole. His mind uttered, a victorious smirk waving across his face.

"Here's what you'll do next..." He whispered in the drunk's ear. "You and your little asshole friends are gonna get the hell out of here, before I decide to really kick your ass. You got that?" The drunk man nodded in response, fear and cowardice heavy on his face. Unsure whether they should help their companion or not, the remaining drunkards eventually ran away, leaving him behind.

Few moments past, before Billy released his grip upon him; standing up, shaken up with few scratches across his arms and face, the man backed away, his expression genuinely scared, before rushing out of the parking lot like a dog with his tail between his legs.

"That was entertaining." Billy muttered, as he noticed the young woman, standing a short distance from him. His eyes locked on her, as she walked out from behind the pedestal. Taking few steps towards him, she remained on guards; a dubious look and a frowned expression, as she ran her eyes across the muscular figure.

"Thank you." She eventually said, keeping a safe distance from him.

"Not a problem." He simply answered, his voice somewhat aloof. She observed him; his disheveled appearance, his intimidating frame and fearless expression, and the weapon he was carrying. He was unfamiliar to her, for she knew the majority of the population fitting his age range.

I've never seen him before- a good-looking man like that wouldn't go unnoticed here... Large tattoo... sturdy built... Minus the outfit, he looks like he just escaped from Douglas Prison... But whatever the case, there's definitely something off about him... and knowing my luck lately, I might've just gotten myself mixed up with one of Irons' hired little pets- She frowned. Or maybe not... Although he did fit the profile, something else seemed at play here. "Not from around here are you?"

"I'm not." He replied, as he took few steps closer. "I'm just passing through. A quick stop, nothing more." Getting acquainted was a risky move, even by revealing but a tiny fact about himself; he couldn't however, help but answer her truthfully.

"Might do you some good." She replied, for he gave her a puzzled look. "Messy clothes, covered in dirt, cuts and blood everywhere..? Looks like you just came back from Hell."

"You're not far off." He answered, his eyes remaining interlocked with hers. Few moments passed, before refocusing his attention to their surroundings; he was in need of a plan, but with the nearly none existent resources at his disposition, things didn't look so good for him. The longer he stayed in the city, and out in the open, the greater were the chances of him being recognized by the local police force. Although he was assured that his escape would remain secret, him being very much alive would eventually attract unwanted eyes, for authorities had informed all cities siding the way to the base about his transportation.

"Well... I wish you good luck, wherever your next destination is." She noticed his frowned expression. "Thanks again, for helping me out." She bid him farewell, and took her leave. Few instants passed, when she heard a call.

"Wait!" She stopped and turned in direction of the voice.
