Setting: Revi and Rebi's apartment.

Revi
There's a story behind every person. There's a reason why the way they are. Think about that when you judge someone.

I was worried sick about Rebecca. She neither talked to me properly nor did she eat anything. All she did after coming back from college was lock herself up in her room and cry. Her whimpering sounds could be heard till our living room.
I couldn't keep up with the noise.

She wasn't cooperating. If she was upset, she could always discuss her problems with me.
I tried quite a few times to get her out but she told me to go away and leave her alone.
I couldn't stop trying, she was always there for my problems.
I thought, at least I could take the outside route. Though I would have to climb the water pipe, that's the least I could do to help her.

I went out and ran to the place of the water pipe. It was cold for a night in June but I didn't bother to get a sweater.
I came in front of the pipe.
I stepped on the bolts which were placed on either side of the pipe so that I could get a grip on the pipe but I slipped and fell. I tried again but I failed. I was beginning to give up when I turned around on hearing footsteps and saw Jaden Terri walking from a distance. It was weird for him to be out so late on a weekend night.
I later realised that he wasn't just walking, he was coming right towards me.

I paused in my trials of going towards Rebi's room.
I was under those mixed emotions again, I couldn't control my actions now like before.
He was coming even closer.
He was in that weird calmness again.

He came up to me, we were almost inches apart.

"My Andromeda....."

I liked the way my nickname rolled on his lips. It was relieving.
I didn't bother to tell him my name though.

He took my hand and said, "If you believe my outer appearance, please don't. It's really not who I am. This whole world is deceiving. Will you believe everyone or will you trust whom your heart says is right? I really don't have much time but if you trust your heart, I know you can trust me. I will wait for your reply, I am giving you my cell number, though those folks don't allow me to make personal calls, a message would be fine. I will be waiting."

With that, he left me puzzled.
He walked off down the street and smiled and made an expression as if trying to tell me he was considering me something more than just a friend.

I really wanted to trust him. My heart agreed to him many times but it will take a while for me to decide that. I needed time to understand this whole situation.

Right now I had other things to handle. I needed to find out what was bothering Rebi.
I saw a long enough ladder near another apartment which could lead me to her room.

I adjusted the ladder in its position and started to climb.
I climbed till the window sill of Rebi's room. From the window, I could see her head hidden in her blanket sheets and her pillow cuddled in her arms. She was sniffing as if she cried a lot. What could be the reason for so much sorrow? She was one happy go lucky girl, and for me, I had never seen her cry so much in these many years.

Something was seriously not right.

I opened up the window pane and climbed inside. Rebi stiffened.
"It's just me Rebi. I am no stranger. What happened to you, dear? Please tell me what happened, my mind is thinking of horrible situations which might have made you cry. Please, stop crying."

Rebi settled down after she heard my voice and replied, "I don't know Revi if you hear this you too will start crying. For now, go back to your room and finish your work, we can talk about this in the morning. (sniff) Now go."

"No Rebi. I am not your friend right now, I am your sister. I am here to support you like you support me. You always told me when I was little that it's best when your problem is shared, that's when your heart will feel less hurt and more mirthful.
Now, will you tell me."

"No, Revi. Go from here and leave me alone."

"Don't compel me Rebi
I could do many things to make you tell me like...... you know what."

"Ok, ... ok but please, keep quiet and listen. (pause) A month before, I was coming back from my photography class, a man came up behind me and handed me an envelope. He told me to take the money and call on the phone number written in it.
I hesitated for a moment, then I opened the envelope and called to the number provided. On the other line, I heard a whimpering sound. It was very familiar to me but I couldn't make out who's sound was I hearing. I questioned the person, and then all of a sudden she started crying. It was....was.... my mother Revi. It felt like she wasn't just in trouble but something else is happening which is worse than her being kidnapped. Revi, your father took captive of my mother to look for me so he can find you. He doesn't know how you look that's why he hasn't found you till now but he recognized me.
It's too late, Revina. I tried to hide my identity as much as I could.
I tried to bargain the guy who spied on me in the weeks after but he only threatened me more. I'm so sorry for keeping this from you, but I didn't want you to worry, I thought I could handle it on my own. He's not far away Revi, he's coming to get you "

I became silent. I was scared and more than terrified to death after what Rebi told me.
My father was looking for me, again. I heard the news years ago that he was looking for me. He would pay hefty cash to anyone to get hold of me and finish me before I speak a word to the police about my mother's death. Yes, my mother hadn't died due to dad's beatings but she was brutally killed by him.
He was too scared to let anyone know that he killed her. He created some story in front of the press and with his money he kept everyone quiet.
I have remained hidden all these years just so I could go arrest him with proper evidence.
No one knew that I carried the most dangerous evidence against him.
