Setting: Jaden's cell

Jaden
When patterns are broken, new world's emerge

(My thoughts)

I caught sight of the most beautiful creature maybe in this city. She was more brilliant than the word itself.

My Andromeda.
That's what her name was. It made me giggle. Maybe I had never felt that way in my whole life or maybe I just couldn't notice anyone else.

Ohhhh ..... why couldn't I stop thinking about her. Ever since I came back from the shop, all I could think about is..... my Andromeda.

Her eyes, the way she talks, the way she looked my way. Why? Was this love at first sight.

Oh... no.

She won't love me back, ever. Everyone including her, thinks I am a devil.

Why, oh.....why?

The only thing was to stop thinking about all this nonsense. Of course, it was not nonsense. It was a feeling like you are dancing with jazz music, or when the cool waves hit your feet and that tingling sensation that gets you smiling, was what I was feeling but maybe even happier than that.

Well if I needed her, I was supposed to make her believe that I am not what she thinks I am, but how?

This is what I was thinking about instead of finding a way to get out.

Ugh!

It was what I had to do. Then I would somehow release my parents and then present the proof I had collected against these menacing people to the police.

*******************

I was pacing the cell outskirts when the jailer came. He wasn't our servant, he was some other guy. He dropped a tray of food for me under the cell bars.
The same old mashed potatoes and boiled carrots. I couldn't make myself to eat it again. It made me want to puke at the sight of it. I didn't even bother to eat it. I was too busy thinking about my Andromeda.

I was frustrated. I couldn't take it anymore. I needed to get out of this cell, get out of their trap. All I needed to do was think of a plan to get out of here and catch hold of a police guy who could trust me.

The jailer saw me and snickered. He said, "You have to go now criminal. You have to take hold of another crime otherwise you know what we'll do."

I couldn't lose this opportunity. I would carry all the evidence with me and when I get the chance I would show them to a cop.

The jailer opened the bars and that moment I swiftly placed the evidence in my coat. He carried a shooter with him. I knew this crime was one of their big ones.
He took me in a limousine this time.
The paparazzi stood there like moths drawn to a flame. They wouldn't budge even when I had to enter the limousine. They all had angry faces, they always did. I was a criminal for them. I had proven myself a big idiot.

I hadn't done anything wrong and still, I was the worst guy ever known to have existed.

They took me to the police station where they would repeat the same procedure. The police would ask my statement. I would deny that I did it, there would be no evidence against me and I would be left alone. This time, it was a little different.

I would deny that I didn't do the crime then I will take out the evidence that they always forget to take from me, which was their(the Daks) phone. It had all the records and exact dates of when the crimes took place and the times when they called me.

The sheriff present there seemed like a good man and took the phone. He said he would inquire about the phone. I also told him that they had taken hold of my parents to blackmail me. The sheriff took in all the info I gave him and said that he would report me as soon as he gets something in hand.

I waited there, scared that the jailer outside would know I was trying some mischief so I stayed put.

I stood there for quite a while.
No one came out. Neither the sheriff nor his officers.
I was losing my patience because the jailer would beat me into a pulp if I don't go out in a little while.
After a long time, an officer comes out and says," The sheriff doesn't have time, he will inform you later. "

Oh no. I have no later.
"No officer you have to understand that if you don't do anything now, there will be no use later on because they will find out and torture me and my parents more. Please try to understand."

"I am sorry sir but....." that moment, the sheriff stepped out, looked up and said, "I understand your concern, sir. I will surely do it now. I know your innocent. I will have to take two minutes of your time but I will surely get to you. Just wait."

That's what I did.
I waited.
