Setting: the slayer's room
Eric
In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.
(Eric's thoughts)
She lay there, motionless.
Her face as still as it could be.
If she could take away a heart like Jaden's, then she surely was
unique.
That boy had a mind of his own. Being very cruel by heart, I
never knew he had a soft spot too.
Jaden had gained her trust by lying to her, but what she didn't
know was that his feelings for her were all true.............
I was sitting on a chair.
Pretty risky job huh.... cuz I had to keep an eye on a smart girl.An hour ago she was injected with anaesthesia, so the doctors could check what abnormalities she had and what helped her to sleep, unlike us.
You may be thinking why the doctors and the rest are here?
You see, I am here to answer your questions.Revina was unlike all of us. She could sleep, take rest and close her eyes without dying. She hadn't quite noticed that irregularity.
Jaden was just supposed to bring her here and get back his parents who were actually kidnapped by The Daks.
Who knew he would fall in love with the so-called "experiment."The Daks called Revina "their experiment", cuz she was the key to help their lost men. Well....to my knowledge, these people have a boss, who had met with an accident and hasn't woken up in the past one week. He was probably trying to be revived with whatever was keeping Revina asleep.
Jaden was just a medium, and me.....I was just to keep an eye on Jaden so that he doesn't take a wrong step. I never thought that Jaden would fall in love with her, ever.
(Mind is blown)(moaning sounds)
Looks like she's up. I better check on her before she runs away.
**********************
I got up from the chair and sat by Revina's side.
What had she done wrong? These people were torturing her so much for something she wasn't responsible for. She was so innocent.I had kept an eye on her ever since Jaden was supposed to go and meet her. Jaden knew Revina well before he met her. He had fallen in love with her ever since we both had starting spying on her. We had to see her everyday's routine to determine whether or not she was a revived one. Jaden not caring about his work, would sit every night at her window sill and see her sleep softly.
He didn't care whether she was different or not, he just wanted to be with her.
Every day, he would get up early and rush to the street under her apartment and watch her go to work. He was a fighter and even after this all happened, he controlled his emotions. He believed, that hiding the truth from her, was in her best interest.
I think that Revina couldn't ask for more than Jaden. I know it would be hard for her to trust him again, but ultimately she will understand that everything had happened for a reason.*******************************
She lay on her back, her eyes trying to stay open. The colour in her face, now drained. She winced at the ceiling and moaned again. She twisted her back, her body not cooperating with her. She tried to move but fell down each time she tried.
"(Sniff) My leg........what did you guys do to my leg! Ahhhh......my back is so stiff. "
I couldn't do much to help her because in any moment The Daks would come back to take her for another surgery on her other leg.
