Setting: Clark's sedan and Revina's unknown location.
Clark
There is no point holding onto someone, who has already let you go.
~Anonomous
Rebecca thought it would work out. Tracking Revina's phone on our own was her idea. Well, this brilliant lady's brilliant idea did work out.
It looked like a long drive even from the highway. Within an hour we were in an unknown, isolated place. The sun had set and the night sky had blanketed over us. The stars studded onto it, twinkling against the cheerful oranges and hot pinks of the sky which were gradually morphing into blues of different shades. What a sight!
If Revi was here, by my side, no longer in any danger, I would have confessed to her about my feelings. Telling her my longingness to be with her. There was a perfect view, a perfect silence for just the two of us.
But instances were such that I couldn't be with her and she couldn't be with me. There was a large distance to cover to fulfil that feeling.

We finally reached the place we traced Revina to be, but that small, blinking dot had vanished. Rebi was silent during the whole way, probably in deep thought about her friend.
She responded to my question after realising what had happened," guess they just switched off her phone."
I agreed. Not wanting anything worse to happen to her.
I parked the car behind the trees where it couldn't be seen.
We hadn't told the police that we were looking for her on our own.
Rebecca wanted to but I refused. We turned to see in front of us a big factory which looked to be shut down for quite a long time.
I took Rebecca's hand in mine, her skin feeling warm against my own and I pulled her along with me behind the factory. If we crawled in from the front, they could suspect us, plus we couldn't find the frieking front door on our way to the back so we just stuck to the back entry.
There was a window, shattered. Wow! Our job is already done here.
"Give me your scarf Rebecca," I said stretching my hand out.
She backed off a little into the grass.
"No Clark, you could get hurt. We can find another way in there. Please don't do this." she said looking into my eyes. She had beautiful green colour orbs which twinkled under the sky.
She had that worry stricken on her face, the worry only a friend could have.I didn't bother about my hands, I was here for Revi.
I took her scarf even though she resisted but then she finally let go in defeat.I wrapped the scarf around my right arm and removed the shards of glass from the corners of the window.
My hand did get pricked by a glass piece but I didn't bother and instead pushed Rebi forward. She hopped in and I came in after her.We started walking forward, blindly following the dim light passage which ended into a forked path.
One went in a path where the dim light ceased to follow and the other was the one where the light was getting brighter. I knew we had to split up here. Revi could be anywhere and we had very less time to find her.
Rebecca took a step towards me and looked up to my face.
I was a little taller so she had to raise her chin up to see my face."Clark, I know you have feelings for Revi. I knew that since the time you had started meeting us and would frequently come up to our apartment to meet......Revi. Frankly speaking, I don't think that she has feelings for you. She takes you more of as a broth......."
I interrupted her. I know that's not good, not a gentleman attribute but I couldn't take it anymore. I liked her and now I am being told that she takes me as a brother.
Hell no!
"No Rebi, no. Not now. Not when her life is depending on it. Yes, you're correct. I like her. I like her a lot. But I can't take this anymore. If she can't be mine, she can't be Jaden's either, and I won't let that happen."
She took my hand. I could see only her eyes and her hair in the light. I hadn't noticed that she had tied her hair into a bun and had taken her scarf back.
She inspected my hand without a word and then ripped a piece of her shirt. She wrapped the cloth around my hand and cleaned the blood off with her fingers.I had tears in my eyes. Why was she being so nice?
"Th... thank you Rebi. I think we should split up now. You take the right and I will take the left. If anything happens or if you find her before me, call me, ok.", I didn't have the courage to stay with her any longer. My heart was broken and she was helping me. She was a true friend and I wasn't being a nice one to her.
With that, I left her in the darkness and I myself walked into it too.
I was high on my senses.
Suddenly, I heard the sound which the keys make when you play with them. I Instantly pressed my body against the wall so hard, as if I wanted to merge into the walls. I slowly moved, my back still against the wall.I was far enough to hear the creek of a metal door opening. I walked towards the sound hoping to find Revi there, unharmed and safe.
When I reached the hallway which was better lit than the other, I was taken aback ... what was in front of me was incomprehensible. It made my stomach churn. In front of me was my Revi, behind the bars of the cell in which she was imprisoned in. Not only that but what my eyes were about to see next, was what would have broken any person's heart.
She was in the arms of Jaden Terri. She was staring up at him with hope and affection behind those lovely brown orbs of her eyes.
They weren't blinking, thinking that they would miss out the fun if they were closed even for a second. Her arms wrapped around his neck. His forehead was leaning against hers. His hands were busy ...both holding her in his arms so that their faces were inches apart. Somehow they seemed to fit into each other.
NO!
This couldn't be happening!
How could Revi do this to me ...I was gonna tell her, she was supposed to be mine, how could that guy put his dirty hands on her?
Surely she didn't realise that her "private" moment was being judged at. But before she could turn her head to find me glaring at them, Jaden cupped her face in his palms and bent down to give her what looked like she needed ... But it was just a brief and short kiss- their lips brushing over each other - trying to fulfil their thirst for more but this intimacy was too much to bear.Footsteps in the hall brought us all back to our senses, but I still continued to look at her with pain in my eyes and a broken heart.
The mirth in her eyes, the happiness on her face and her red cheeks were just enough confirmation to prove that what I just witnessed was too real to be impossible. She caught me staring at her and realisation drew onto her face ...
