He left me dazed in the living room. His sturdy, muscled back vanished behind a door with a loud slam. I let out a sigh and decided to head to the kitchen.

I was rummaging through his fridge and cupboards trying to find something to make. But unfortunately my lack of skill in the culinary field defied me. SHIT! My finger got burned, my brows furrowed up in frustration, as I put the tip of my finger in my mouth. I barely heard the chuckle that was let out. I turned to find Ryder leaning up against the wall. His eyes were directed at me.

"Having some trouble there?" He snorted out, along with a chuckle. I gave him a glare, turning my back to him.

"No. I got this under control." I spoke, confidently. Though that is the exact opposite of what I am feeling, and I can feel that Ryder knows how I really am feeling.

"Your useless." He sighed, walking up to behind me and gave me a little shove. He stood in front of the oven and took out some species and some already thawed out meat from the fridge and started to cook right in front of me. Not long later he took it off and there was homemade stroganoff. He offered me a plate with a smirk on his lips. I smiled and took it, sitting at the counter. I took a fork full and put it my mouth. My taste buds danced with the savory flavors. My face showed delight as I chewed.

"Is it that good?" I heard a voice call out to me, I opened my eyes to see Ryder smirking at me with his arms crossed over his shoulders.

"Um, yes." I spoke quietly, embarrassed that he saw that. How is he good at everything... It's like he doesn't have to try hard. He's great looking and skilled. I sighed.

He didn't say anything and he didn't touch the leftovers that remained in the pan. He stayed and looked at me. I chewed the rest of the food, completely aware he was there.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked him, piling the rest of the food in my mouth. He just stood there deep in thought not giving me any attention. His eyes usually bright are dull, and distant.

"No." He said sharply and pushed himself off the wall and walked out of the kitchen. My eyes followed after him, completely dumbfounded. Is he mad at me? I sighed and placed my dishes in the sink. I put the food into a container and placed it in the fridge. I looked back towards the living room, still not seeing Ryder.

I walked out and followed the stair case up, I saw a bunch of doors but one was open a crack. I opened it and saw Ryder sitting on his bed with his head in his hands. I walked over and pulled him into my chest. I felt him stiffen.

"What are you doing?" He spat, pulling me away with his arm. His eyes still dull and distant glared up at me.

" Sorry, should have I not done that? " I questioned, looking down at him slightly. My heart thumps in my chest as he looked at me.

He let out a sigh, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me down on to his bed. He pulled me so close that my back was pushed up tightly against his chest.

"Sleep here tonight." He whispered in my ear sounding like a child, making my heart skip a beat. I nodded and felt his arms tighten around me.

The next morning I woke to find Ryder still asleep. He looks so innocent and defenseless. His soft breathes leave his slightly open mouth. His hair all over the place, he's so attractive and a little more when he's asleep. A smile spread across my face.

"Why are you smiling at me so creepy?" His horase morning voice called out to me. Oh God thats so sexy, his morning voice and his sleepy eyes is the sexiest thing I've seen. I can see why all the girls fall all over him.

"Good morning" I smiled, resting my head on my elbow as I gazed at him. There goes my heart again, this might not take long for me to talk in love with him.

"Mmhmm, cover your face we are going out for breakfast...... Hey didn't you have more dumps on your face last night?" He rubbed his eyes, before staring at me closely. He reached his hand out and pulled me to him by my chin.

He studied my face closely, before breaking out into a smile.

"Looks like you're falling for me." He smirked, leaning his face into mine. Our lips only inches away.
