"Hi guys, Des Cheng here! Today I'm off to experience Greece in La Union! Yup, you heard it right. We'll get to have the feels of a European country in a Filipino province. And our first stop will be Gefseis Greek Grill, because as you know, food always comes first.", Des beamed at the camera and gestured to go inside the restaurant.
But instead of going in, she ran towards me.
"Ano, ok ba? Napindot mo naman, diba?", tanong niya.
"Oo naman. Nakatira lang ako sa probinsya pero marunong naman akong gumamit ng camera.", sagot ko na ikinatawa niya.
"Sira! Of course that's not what I meant."
I went from sarcastic to stunned real quick.
It amazes me whenever I hear her laugh kasi iilang beses pa lang yun nangyari. I wish I can always do that. Make her smile... make her laugh... make her happy.
"Patingin nga.", she took her new camera from my hands (it's the camera from the auction, by the way) and played the video that I took.
"Yay, nice! Thanks Kib!", she then said after watching.
"No problem.", I smiled at her.
Des began to move around the place, taking videos and shooting photos. As I stared at her, I realized how passionate she is about her job. Anyone who would see her could tell that she really loves what she's doing. And it makes her all the more beautiful.
Sa kakatitig ko, di ko napansin na nasa harap ko na pala siya, kung di niya pa ako pinicturan, with flash pa ah.
"Ang bully mo, alam mo yun.", sabi ko.
Tumawa na naman siya.
Kailangan talaga na-aapi muna ako bago siya sumaya eh.
"Kanina pa kasi kita tinatawag diyan, di ka naman sumasagot. Na-statwa lang?", pang-aasar niya.
"Nasilaw lang.", I answered, causing her forehead to crease.
"Sa flash?", nagtataka niyang sagot.
Hindi. Sayo.
Pero hindi ko sinabi yun, siyempre. Mamaya ma-awkward na naman sa akin 'to eh.
"Sa araw. Ayaw mo pa bang pumasok sa loob?", I asked instead.
"Actually kanina pa kita inaaya.", Des chuckled. "Tara? Let's wait for Drei and Tin inside na lang."

We entered the restaurant and was welcomed by the owner himself, Mr. Vassieleios Polychronies. Of course, Des took the opportunity to have a brief interview with him and ako ulit yung instant camera man.
