Chapter 3

* At entrance of castle of charles *

After walking from edward's office , to the entrance of the kingdom . We made it to the horse drawn courage .
Edward lended me a hand up , and I took his hand as I walked up the one stair for balance and I was in the carriage . He got in after me , and we sat down on the seats . " Are you ready my rose? " he asked . I nodded and he told the drivers to begin .

The carriage moves as the horses trot , and edward smiled at me .

* A few hours later *

We were in the middle of charles , all the people we passed either said hi or just waved . Their all so nice . We passed lots of flower shops , restaurants , stores and lots of other places . They were all so amazing . Charles is so pretty . So many flowers , and lots of nice people . I just love it!
That's when rose petals went flying , and I smiled . " Are you enjoying it my beautiful rose? " edward asked . " Yes I am , I love it . Everyone is so nice here , and everything is just so pretty . " I said .

I let some rose petals fall into my hand and I threw then above me and edward . They fell like confetti . Edward chuckled and I smiled like a 5 year old who just got her favorite dolly . Everything was so amazing , I couldn't help but smile . Soon we made it back to the castle , and it was already starting to get dark . " Did you like the tour? " he asked . " Yes I loved it edward , it was so amazing! " I smiled . " That's good to hear . " he said . So he got out first , and as I was getting out my heel got stuck for a minute and I lost my balance .

" Edward! " I yelped . Before I met with a hard impact , I was met with strong arms and a strong chest . I opened my eyes , and I saw edward looking at me . " You okay there? " he asked . " Yes , just lost my balance . " I said . " Well thanks for catching me . " I added . " Your welcome my rose , but I always didn't want you to get hurt . " he said . He let me down , and I looked at him . " Well I guess I should get back to my room . " I said . As I walked up the stairs , and left for my room .

* A bit later *

I was sitting on my bed reading , when there was a knock at the door . " Come in . " I said . In came louis , and he looked pleased . " Princess christina , his highness has asked for your presence with him for dinner tonight . " louis said . Edward wants to have dinner with me? Well that should be normal . " Okay , tell him I'll be down there in a minute I have to change . " I said . " He will be waiting in the dining room waiting . " louis said . Louis left and I got up . I walked to my suitcase , and I looked through . Okay , what to wear? I'm not sure . Did I pack any floral print? Or anything floral at all?

I looked through my bag and certainly I did . Thank god .

* After changing *

I messy braid my hair and do little makeup , I get up and straightened my gown . I fix my flower choker , and slip on my heels . Then I walked out of the room , and down the halls . Okay , since I did some exploring yesterday , so I should know where the dining hall is . At least I should know . So I hold my gown by the sides , and I continue to walk down the halls . And then finally I made it . I opened the doors and walked in . I see edward , and he smiled at me as he fiddled with his champagne glass . He got up and walked to me . He took my hand , and he kissed it sweetly .

" You look beautiful my lovely rose . " he said . I blushed a bit . " Oh edward your always so sweet . " I smiled . He led me to a chair next to him , and he pulled my seat for me . I sat down and he pushed me to the table . " Louis will bring our dinner soon , but for now we wait . " edward said . Edward sat in his seat , and we talked . " And I suppose a light champagne for my rose? " he asked . " You supposed right . " I smiled . He poured a bit of light champagne in my champagne glass , and then he poured some in his . I smiled and we sat and talked , then louis brought in dinner .

And it was small boiled potatoes , slices of turkey , and some steamed honey covered carrots and some other stuff . But it was good . As I ate , I didn't notice edward looking at my lovingly . " Do I have something on my face? " I asked . " No , your just so beautiful that I cannot help but look . " he said sweetly . Oh dear . I'm definitely in trouble for sure , I definitely won't be able to choose like this . He's being so sweet that I can't help it .

* In christina's room *

Edward has walked me back to my room , but soon my phone had gone off . It was a ringtone that I knew so well when he called , I only had that song 'Secrets' for him as his ringtone . Joshua . He must think I'm getting close to going to bed , if he can't talk to me during the mornings or during the day he tries to talk to me at night . We always have nightly talks . It always soothes me to sleep knowing he was the last person to tell me something before I go to sleep . His voice always calms me , and his stories about his day entertain me .

I let it stop ringing , and then I run to my phone . I look at it . It read

Ten missed calls - Joshua lieben

And it had his face from 6 year ago on it . His collar idea picture is the picture of him on the carousel , he was smiling and blushing faintly that day . It was the day we went to the fair together ; we had planned it and he had gotten me a stuffed teddy bear that said 'I love you forever' on the red heart it held . And he always gave me his jacket that day since it got cold , but he was so sweet . I've never changed his picture from that , cause seeing his face reminds me of that lovely day .

" Is everything okay christina? " edward asked . I jumped and held my phone to my chest . " Yes everything is fine , it was just my friend sarah from the tour . " I lied . I didn't want him to get upset if I told him it was joshua , then he would think I love joshua more . When I'm not even sure . I then played a slow song on my phone , and I laid it down . I turned to edward and he smiled . " May I have this dance my rose? " he asked bowing . " Yes you may . " I smiled . He then took my hand , and put his other hand on my waist firmly and pulled me close gently . He then led me in a slow but rhythmic dance , and I was smiling and giggling .

Soon his gaze meets mine , and we stand there looking at each other . He then leans in slowly , and his lips touch mine . We are then endorsed into a gentle sweet kiss , and my hands reach to lightly tug on his hair needing something to hold onto to .

* Later *

I laid in bed with my nightgown on , and I grabbed my phone . I dialer joshua's number , and I was praying to god that he would still be up . " Come on joshua , pick up the damn phone . " I said . Soon after ringing multiple times ; he finally picked up .
" Joshua , did I wake you? " I asked . " No , I was already up . I just finished with work and am now heading to my room . " he said . I sighed in relief . Thank god . " So hey I'm sorry I didn't answer you earlier , I was ... busy . " I lied . " You mean you were with edward? " he asked . " Damn , you can always figure things out . " I sighed .

" Christina you don't have to lie to me , I know your in charles because all the princes were blowing up my phone saying how it wasn't fair today . " he said . I sighed again . " I'm not really suprised . " I said . The princes would do that , I know them that well . It's actually quiet sad . But their my friends , so I can't say anything . " Yeah .. sorry . " I said . " It's fine , so how is time with edward? " he asked .
" Well I'll say it's flowery . " I giggled . I heard joshua chuckle , for some reason he always thought I was funny . So after we talked , we were at our goodbyes . " Goodnight joshua . " I said . " Goodnight christina , I'll talk to you tommorow . " he said .

And I hung up , as I placed my phone on the bedside table . I smiled and I thought of joshua , what was he doing now? And what he was thinking about .
