The royal baby shower

      The maids had finished my hair , and I was walking down the hall . I was suppose to meet jan for the limo , so he could drive me in town for the baby shower . The girls told jan where to drop me off , but they didn't tell me anything . I sighed , and I had my hand on my stomach . Sieg was real rowdy today , kicking a lot . Joshua was gonna be in a meeting all day , so he wouldn't be done till maybe a few minutes after I got back . As I made my way down , I got in the limo and jan drove . He didn't say anything , but he was smiling . " Jan .. what time does joshua get out of his meeting? " I asked .

" Around seven pm . " he said . Oh .. I get home after the baby shower around 6:30pm . So I have to wait 30 minutes to see my husband , great just what I want to do . I just tried to relax , and I knew today was gonna be a great day . So once we made it into town , jan stopped in front of a girly café . One of the guards next to jan got out , and he came to my side and opened the door . He helped me out , and led me to the door and let me in . There was a receptionist at the podium , and she bowed immediately seeing me . " Princess christina is here for her baby shower . " the guard said .
She nodded and led us to upstairs , she then lead us to a room . She opened the door , and I walked in . I heard squeals . Yep , I'm in the right room . The guard left and told me him and jan would be back at 6:10pm to pick me up . I nodded , and then he was gone . Great .. here we go .

       * In conference room dres van castle *

Joshua was in a meeting with the princes of the other kingdoms , discussing royal matters . He was bored out of his mind . He rather much be with christina , but he knew it was her day to be with her friends and she needed a girls day . So as much as he thought it was a pain , he kept thinking of her . He worried about her and sieg . He knew a guard wouldn't be with her till jan went to go pick her up , so he was worried for their safety . Would they really be okay without any guards? Christina would of probably called him a worrywart by now .

Wilfred stood next to joshua , and joshua looked at him . " She'll be fine joshua . " wilfred said . Wilfred just like christina was always able to read his mind , it ponder him to wonder how in the world could he be such an easy open book? He barely ever let anyone know his thoughts , christina was always able to read his mind easily . No matter what he was thinking .. it was obvious that sister like brother the spencer twins could easily read anyone's mind . " I'm just worried something will happen , I mean there's no guards there to protect her or sieg . " joshua mumbled .

" Nothing will happen trust me , plus it's just one day . Let her have some fun . " wilfred said . Sadly , it was the truth . Joshua needed to loosen up on it , he knew she'd be perfectly fine . And it was just one day , she never got to have really anything fun to do while walking around the castle . All she ever did was stay in their room , walk down the halls , read in the library , and sit in the baby's nursery . That's all she does .. so maybe she did need to have a little fun . At least she'd be doing something else then just walking all over the castle back and fourth .

Even though it was good exercise for her and the baby , she's been doing well . She's been taking the pre-mental care , vitamins and small healthy snacks , healthy meals , she ignores most of her cravings except for chocolate which joshua is always getting for her at like 2am , she tries to always stay calm so she won't have mood swings , she's been going to all her doctor appointments and just been doing so good .

The doctor had last told them with all the good things christina was doing , sieg would be a healthy full - term baby . It made joshua happy that she was doing all things every pregnant women should do , and that it made her pregnancy go smoothly without any problems . She was happy , and so was he . The only part that wasn't gonna be so good for her ... was the pain she got when she goes into labor . From joshua reading books , it's suppose to be a beautiful process but from getting descriptions it doesn't sound so beautiful . And it sounds painful , he can just image how much pain she'll be in when sieg decides to come into the world .

As much as he wanted to meet
his son .. labor was just one thing he wasn't looking forward too .

    * Back at the baby shower *

  " Okay this one is from roberto , feels light too . I'm not even sure he got anything . " sarah said . She handed me the medium sized box wrapped in baby blue paper . I opened it , and pulled the box lid off . There was a card and I looked at it .

   I pulled out the tissue paper and there laid one of my newest book serious . It was book number 5 of the Music generated manga series! Yes! Thank your roberto! Always so thoughtful , I can't wait to read it later . So after presents , playing games , and etc . We all sat down and just talked . " So christina , any baby movements? " cynthia asked . I rubbed my stomach smiling at it , and then I looked at them . " Yeah , a real lot today . I don't know what's gotten into him . " I said . " Sweetie that just means he's getting into position , it means he's getting ready to be here soon . " mom said . Yeah , getting into position . The doctor mentioned that would happen when I felt a lot of movement .

" Oh! I just can't wait to meet him! " sarah squealed . " Me either! " becky said . I sighed smiling , but I knew it too . I couldn't wait to meet my little bundle of joy either . If he's getting ready now .. then it means he'll be here soon . " So when are you gonna  get a nanny or babysitter? " my brothers fiancé alexia asked . " Babysitter? " I questioned . " Oh yeah! You need to get one! " sarah said . I was still confused , on why I need to get one . " Why? " I asked . " Because with a kid around , there will be no time with joshua . " alexia said .

" You'll be tired all the time . " becky said . " Stretch marks! " alexia pointed out . " Your not always yours . " cynthia said . " You'll always have the kid on your hip . " sarah said . I looked to mom , was this really true? I don't think I can handle this now . " Girls stop , look she doesn't need a babysitter . " mom glared at them . " Yeah , she doesn't . I mean a baby is only gonna bring her and joshua more closer together , not drive them apart . " cynthia said . I sighed in relief . And I knew the truth , she was right . Sieg was only bring me joshua more closer , cause getting sieg was our big wish come true . And we both love him dearly , and want to meet him . 

So I don't need a nanny or babysitter , sieg just needs me and joshua . His two loving parents who want him here already , we couldn't wait any longer . " So have you had any cravings? " mom asked . " Have you finally given in to them? " sarah asked . " Not all of them , and yes I've had some . But I've only given into one , and that's one I can't deny . " I smiled . Everyone knew I was talking about chocolate , cause then smiled at me . But suddenly sarah grinned . " Have you and joshua had any of 'that' time together since you learned you were pregnant? " sarah asked . Cynthia joined in on it too .

I blushed a deep red , but hey I'd be telling the truth . " No not since , not even before I was showing . " I said . " Wow that's suprising . " cynthia grinned . " Yeah , but hey it's joshua were talking about . " sarah said . " He probably just doesn't want to hurt the baby . " my mom glared at them again . She's right , that's probably why . Cause as soon as i told joshua I was pregnant , he had become a bigger worrywart .

But .. it wouldn't hurt to ask him why .
