Chapter 10

 
          * Later *

I walked into joshua's office , and there I walked in . " Joshua I'm back . " I said . He didn't even lift his head , and he didn't even say a word .  I walked to his desk , and put my hands on the desk making a small thud . He still didn't look at me , and I was starting to get irritated . " Joshua lieben! " I shouted . That caught his attention , he lifted his head a bit and he blushed deeply when he saw me . But I saw where his eyes were staring , and I blushed myself . I hadn't realized that my shirt had started to hang low . He was looking at my somewhat exposed cleavage . I don't want lust , I want time with him .

I covered it up , and then he looked at me . " Can we go hang out? " I asked . His face turned back to that stone cold look . And he went back to his papers . " Christina I can't , I have to work . " he said . " No you don't , you've been working all day for weeks joshua . " I said . He didn't even say a word to me . I walked from the desk and stood there mad , I wanted time with him . Is that all too hard to ask? " Please joshua , I haven't seen you in weeks . " I said . " I can't . " he responded . " Yes you can! " I yelled .

He got up from his chair , and he looked at me angry .
" If you want someone to spend time with you then why don't you go back to that prince leonardo! I saw you smooshing all of him! He seems to have all the time in the world! So go hang with him! I can't because I have to work! I have my duties as a prince! And if you can't understand that then you need to leave me alone! " he yelled . I felt tears welling up in my eyes . " Fine! I will! It's obvious you rather marry your work more then me! " I yelled back at him . I left in tears , and I ran down the hall .

I knew now for a fact that he didn't love me anymore , and if I wasn't wanted then I'll leave . I ran past someone , I'm sure it was one of the maids and I ran to the guest room . I slammed the door and I threw my heels at the wall . I slid down and cried hard . Was it really all over after a few weeks? Really? Over in a flash? Had our childhood spark fizzled out so quick? Had my birthday choosing been a mistake? Was what happened on my birthday a mistake too? I couldn't believe it at all .

I hated this feeling . Was this how bad heartbreak felt? I wouldn't of known till now . As if the snide comments and nasty looks that I got from the other girls in dres van didn't help my hurting . It was all the other harem that would of been for joshua to chose if I hadn't chose him . Maybe they stayed this long in dres van cause they figured I'd call off the wedding soon . Well they were right .. and this along with their bullying had just done it . Well wilfred and none of the princes were around . Wilfred is off always around with his harem getting to know her , and so are the others and their busy too . Last I heard that keith was on 5 day business trip to somewhere for kingdom business .

I was alone .. all alone . The dark clouds over the beautiful night sky started to rain and thunder . Hitting the window pane , and I sat there crying a lot . Well I can't go to uncle mikey's right now , but maybe I don't need to . I got up , and I sat on my bed as I got my phone . I put it on video , and I set it up . I tried wiping my eyes but tears kept coming .

" Hi it's chrissy . I know your all too busy or like half way cross somewhere . But I think this needs to be said . " I sniffled . Wiping my eyes and taking breathes , I kept going .
" I'm all alone , I guess since I was told to go . I guess sitting here for nothing isn't gonna help my situation , but if someone has noticed my behavior lately . I'm glad that you at least have some sympathy for me , I would tell you thank you but i don't think it's the right time . " I said . I took my earrings out and off the engagement ring , knowing they'd see it .

" Well my last words were in anger , and I hope someone at least knows how I felt . And someone tell joshua I loved well love him , I still do . But it's obvious he doesn't love me back anymore , and I've been thinking of this for a while . Maybe it'd be right for me to cancel the engagement , he'd probably be happier if I did . So someone tell him I love him . " I said . Wiping my nose , and wiping my makeup off . I figured this would probably give the biggest guess to it all .

" I love you guys , and I love you too big brother . Tell mom and dad I love them too , I love you sarah and cynthia . You girls have been great friends and have been there for me the most . I appreciate it , but I think that this is the best way to do things . " I said . This may be stupid , but I figured I'd do this before I take this risk . It would cure my pain and everything , so I might as well get all the words out . I made sure my tears were seen in this one , and I looked at the camera on my phone .

" I guess this is goodbye .. forever . I'll miss you all , and I hope you all live happy life's without me . " I said . I then ended it , and I picked up my phone . I sent it to roberto , edward , glenn , keith , wilfred , sarah , and cynthia . Joshua probably wouldn't care at all . I put my phone on the bed , and I locked the bedroom door and I walked to the bathroom . I grabbed a cup and filled it with water , and grabbed a pill bottle .

       * In the halls *

Roberto was walking down the dres van halls , having to talk to joshua about something . On his way , his phone beeped . Alberto gave him his phone and roberto looked at it . " Oh a message from chrissy! " he squealed in happiness . He opened it , and a video popped up . At the bottom it said 'My last goodbyes' , and he watched the video . And then it suddenly hit him , he dropped his phone and ran to joshua's room as quick as he could . When he got there .. christina wasn't in there , she wasn't even in the bathroom . He looked to alberto who was about to yell at him . " Al call the ambulance! Chrissy may be dead! " roberto panicked .

Alberto was taken back and did as he said , and roberto ran to the guest room . As he did , he ran into jan . " Prince roberto what's the rush? " jan asked . " Get joshua now! Chrissy may be dead! " roberto told him . Jan looked panicked and ran for joshua's office .
Roberto ran to the guest room , and when he did he tried the door . It was locked . He knew he was running out of time , and that she may already be dead . He knew joshua would be mad , but a person's life is at stake! Roberto stood back and kicked back the door , and it slammed opened .

He saw she wasn't in the room , and there was her phone that was beeping with messages . He grabbed her phone and started to call wilfred . He ran to the bathroom seeing it was closed , and it was locked too . He kicked that door too . Finally wilfred answered .
" Wils! Oh thank god! " roberto said . He looked in the bathroom and there she laid on the floor with a bottle and a shattered cup . " What is it roberto? " wilfred asked . Wilfred may of not seen the video yet , now this was gonna be hard to say . He ran to christina and held her , picking her up and trying to keep her awake .

" Wils! Christina may be dead! " roberto told him . Soon came in alberto , and he looked panicked . The phone call had ended and he knew wilfred was on his way now . " The dres van ambulance are on their way now . " alberto said . " Help me get her to the gates , we can meet them there . " roberto said . Alberto and roberto carried christina down the hall , and they passed jan who was trying to get in joshua's office . Looks like joshua had blocked off any annoyance so he could work . As soon as they had made the gates , the ambulance was there and they took her in . Roberto got in his limo , and alberto drove them . Following the ambulance .
