        * Flashback *

" Joshua I can't do it , it's just too hard . " I complained . " Oh you'll be fine christina , if I have to do this so do you . Now come on , let's get this done . " joshua said .

I sighed as I got up and I walked to him . We were alone .. in the ball room together . Mother and father said that I needed to learn properly dance to , so they had gotten me an instructor . But that instructor didn't last two minutes with even though I didn't even do anything . I had just accidently stepped on his foot and he was like " I'm done , she's a disgrace! " and I was about to go off .  Like seriously? Dude your a freaking 2 year old if you can't handle someone stepping on your foot . Joshua had excelled at his lessons , along with the others and my brother . So joshua had came over to help me , seeing that his schedule was canceled for today for some reason .

" Okay , so I hold your hand in mine and my other is to be on your waist as your other holds your dress . " he said . I sighed again , rolling my eyes being annoyed already at this . " Christina , if you want your parents to stop bugging you about this then you need to try and learn . " joshua added . So I put my right hand in his , and my left held my dress up a bit . His left hand went on my waist , and I bit my tongue to hold in my gasp . I really hadn't danced like this ever , this was all new especially with the touches that involve the proper dancing .

Joshua gave me a concerned look when his eyes read mine . " Is everything okay christina? " he asked . " Yeah , just fine joshua . Don't worry , let's just get this over with . " I said . And so he led me step by step , I had messed up a few times . But it real hard to focus when his hands would go places when he spinned me or whatever else . But eventually .. I got it and it only took half of the day . And so we had brought in my brother , and my parents to show them I got it . But I was kinda nervous since I had only done well when we were alone .

Joshua's hand on my waist and the other holding mine , I could almost feel his breath on my neck . " I can't do this joshua . " I said . " Your fine , you'll do fine . Remember if you do it in front of them then you'll be able to dance in front of a ballroom full of people . " he said . I tried to calm my breathing . " Just imagine us alone again , that were dancing alone . " joshua said . I nodded , and I started to calm . Soon the elegant music began , and joshua nodded and we began to dance properly like princes and princesses should . I did what he said . And it had worked , I felt like we were all alone again .

Like it was just us again , as if we were praticing again .
