* Flashback *

" I wouldn't mind at all . " I sang . My fingers slowly strummed the last beats , and then it finished . My hands both now resting on the guitar as my eyes met with violet amethyst ones . His lips curved into that gentle smiled I loved so much , his facial expression turning from peaceful to gentle and happy . His violet locks everywhere , his bangs swept over those beautiful amethyst eyes . " That was amazing christina , I wish I could hear you sing all the time . " he said . His smile making my blush take new heights , my heart skipping rapid beats . " T - Thanks . " I said . How could be so carefree at a moment like this? It felt so intense .

The air felt so .. so .. stiff that it made it harder for me to try and make my heart stop pounding . I was so scared it was gonna jump out of my chest right this moment . I turned my head to the side , my eyes averting his that were desperate to meet mine . " I like singing for you guys . " I said . My head looking away from his gaze that was desperate to meet mine , I tried to avoid his . As I did , his big gentle hands reached out to me . His right on my hand that was on the guitars hilt , and his left holding my cheek making me meet his gaze .

In those violet eyes I saw love and gentle care , I blushed red . Which was very noticeable . I only blush badly around joshua , I can't help it much .
" I only want you to give me private concerts , I want to be the only prince you sing to . " he said . My blush deepened and I couldn't say anything at all . He had my ability to speak away . His face leaning in slowly , my body moving itself as I leaned in too . Our lips dangerously close as I felt his warmth radiating close to me even though we were spaced between my guitar .

Joshua...

* Flashback over *

" Damn don't wake her yet! " a voice boomed . Hearing it startled me a bit , and I had started to wake on my own a bit . But then I heard a gentle voice . " Princess it's time to wake up . " the gentle voice spoke again . My eyes fluttered open slowly , and I woke with a suprise . I saw the claude , but at the side I saw the prince of liberty standing next to his butler . Keith . A smile rose to my lips , and I sat up . Claude opened the door and I got out . Keith smiled and pulled me in for a hug , I hugged back smiling . As we pulled back , we laughed at each other . " Finally my time with you , those damn princes have been bragging about what they did during their time with you and it wasn't fair at all . " he complained .

" Oh keith you still haven't changed at all . " I giggled . He smiled , and soon claude had left . " So what first? " I asked . " How about a little basketball? " he asked . I knew he was gonna ask that , he just loves to play sports . " Sure , you just have to let me change real quick . " I said . He started to grin , and I blushed faintly . " Not here! I have to in the guest room! Alone! " I pouted . He chuckled , and he led me to my room .

* In christina's room *

We walked in and luke set my suitcase down , and keith watched him leave . " Keith I have to get dressed first . " I said . He pouted a little bit . " And you know the rules , no one is allowed to let a man see her undecent until marriage . " I said . He sighed . " I know you don't have to tell me the rules , I know them enough . " he said . Before he left , he stopped at the door . " I'll see you on the basketball court . " he added . He then left , and I was by myself . I was thinking maybe I should text joshua , but he was probably busy .

But maybe .. so I grab my phone and I decide to call . As I waited for it , he finally answered . " Joshua hey . " I said . " Princess christina , this is a suprise . " Jan said . Jan?! What's he doing with joshua's phone? " Oh Jan it's you , this is a suprise . " i said . I was thinking joshua would of answered , but then again he's a prince . And being the dres vanian prince he's gonna have a full schedule . " His highness is in a meeting til 1pm , and then he is going to the dres van library elementary to read to the kids . He then has to talk to the harem that would be chosen if he's not chosen . " Jan said . Oh wow . That's so suprising , did I hear him right?

" His highness is looking towards the reading . " Jan added . Wow , I didn't think it was possible for joshua to like kids . Although he likes alan though . That's quite suprising too , it almost knocks me off my feet sometimes .
" Oh well can you tell him I called? I'm with prince keith right now , and I don't know if he's gonna want to have dinner with me later . So tell him to call me later when he gets the chance please , I'd like to talk to him . " I said sadly . It was a bit before Jan answered again , I thought we had lost connection . " Princess are you okay? You sound a bit sad . " Jan said .

I wiped my tears that were threatening to escape my eyes . I don't know why I'm crying , and I don't know why I'm sad either . But yet my heart hurts ... can anyone tell me why? " Oh .. i'm fine jan , just my allergies flaring up a bit . " I lied . I couldn't let jan know the truth , even though I didn't know it either . But I couldn't let him tell joshua I was crying over the phone . Joshua would skip all his princely duties and call me till I answered and then ask me why I was crying repeatedly til I told him .
And it would suck .. even though I wish he would .

" Are you sure princess? " Jan asked . " Yes I'm sure jan , no need to worry . Just tell joshua what I told you to tell him please . " I said . " Will do princess , and I also recommend some allergy pills for your allergies . " he said . He then ended the call , and I stood there with my phone in my hand . The screen back onto joshua's contact , and there laid his contact photo of him blushing on the carousel that one time we went to the fair . And I stood there just looking at it as I let my tears fall . Harem? A picked bridal? If I didn't pick him? I felt like falling down to my knees . Did his father talk to him about this? Did the other princes know? Did my own brother know and not tell me?

I mean I know it's what all the kings would want for their sons , but my brother knew and didn't tell me? And joshua too? As did the princes too? A secret that no one wanted to tell me? How could they? But they probably thought I couldn't handle it , and they were probably right . Cause right now I feel like falling into a pit of nothing , to just console myself . But doing that myself wouldn't help , it would just make it worse . Cause I would need someone to console me . It's always been like that .

I dialed a number , and waited for him to answer . And after a few minutes he did . " Hey dear sister , how are you doing in liberty? " wilfred asked . " How could you not of told me that joshua would have to pick a harem if I didn't pick him! " I shouted . I definitely got his attention , I just knew it . I was always able to get wilfred's attention by shouting or yelling . " Christina look that was something I couldn't tell you , that was joshua's and told him to tell you sooner . Cause I knew you would be upset by this . " he said .

Wilfred knew me and joshua had something special , he knew it from the start from when we were kids . And he had accepted it , that's why he had did his best to become real good friends and close friends with joshua as we grew . He did it for my sake . And joshua knew how much I meant to my brother , that's why he was always so cautious and careful with me .
