Mel

Dave and I got ready for the day then we left to go to the city. We drove past lot's of houses, the snow was getting heavier and it was getting colder. I was actually in a fairly good mood today considering what has happened.

"We're close to Jeffery Dahmer's apartment, " Dave said.

"Oh lovely," I said.

"We can go visit for dinner."

"Imagine going over there and opening the fridge to find body parts then he serves you some guys dick for dinner. Now I am paranoid to eat any meat." I said. Dave was laughing so hard he had to pull over the car.

"Oh Mel you're a funny one."

"I try." After Dave finished having his laughing fit we continued driving. We only lived about 20 minutes from the city so it wasn't a long way but it was good to go for a drive. It reminded me of when we use to go for late night drives. Sometimes we would drive out to our special spot (a hill that looks over the city) and sit on the hood of the car talking for hours. When we got into the city we went to the shops.

"I need to get some new jeans," Dave said.

"Ok. Off to the Levi shop." Dave chose a pair of jeans and I looked at some t-shirts. Dave came out of the change rooms.

"You gonna buy those jeans?" I asked.

"Yes." Dave paid then we left. I got a new pair of Dr. Martens, a new dress and some earrings.

"Oh look they're doing piercings for $4!" Dave said.

"Get one. It would suit you."

"Yeah ok, I will." I went into the piercing shop with Dave. Dave chose an earring and then the lady doing the piercing started setting up.

"Holy shit! You're Dave Grohl." the lady said.

"Yeah I am," Dave said laughing.

"I love your music," she said.

"Thank you very much."

"Ok now I will put the needle through your ear to pierce it." The lady put the needle through then put the earring in the hole. The earring was just a small silver hoop but it suited him.

"Thanks," Dave said then paid the lady.

"It looks good."

"Thanks. You wanna get some lunch?"

"Yeah sure."

Mel and I went to go get some tacos for lunch then we went back to my apartment.

"Thanks for everything you've done for me," Mel said and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"No problem," I said. I could tell I was blushing. Krist and Shelli came over for dinner since we went to their house last time. I made soup and we had that for dinner. It sure was good to have Mel back, I really did love her. Shelli and Krist left at about 11, Mel and I watched tv for a while. I put my arm around Mel and she moved in closer to me.

"Look Mel, I know we've been through lot's but do you want to give it another shot?" Mel started at me, my heart was racing fast.

"Yes. I want to get back together," she said and kissed me. Life is good
